From the preview trailer it looked like the black dude has superpowers. The core members of the team don't, but I can see them interacting with different Marvel people with powers.

I will be checking this out when it debuts in the fall. Looked really solid from the trailer.

I'm a DC guy and I don't even watch Arrow though I do hear it's surprisingly alright and the ratings have been good. Angel and Buffy were two of my favorite shows in their prime. Firefly was alright too though I think it's pretty overrated. But I couldn't give 2 fucks about anything Joss Whedon does nowadays. Dollhouse was ass and I didn't like The Avengers.

I could see how a movie about Shield could work, but I'm just not seeing how a show about them works.

a show is perfect ...they get to showcase the lesser known heroes and villains...also they could play clean up crew and come to a city/area to investigate after someone like the hulk has already smashed it to hell and show how they track and keep tabs and intel on the heroes and villains...shit could be dope
