Lupe is lyrical.... his flow is kinda boring..... his beats are semi lame.... and he talks about things that the dorky (for lack of a better word) crowd feel like they can relate to... so automatically they put him ahead of every rapper cause they feel like he represents them. Its laughable to say that lupe has 2 classics... those albums basically had no effect on hip hop whatsoever.... Hes dope for what he does.... and lyrical. But isn't well rounded enough. and them dudes would like anybody talkin about shit like he does

first of all, you apparently don't listen to lupe enough because, like somebody else already stated, dude got songs that ain't got shit to do with being a "dork."

Wayne does his thing, but he'll never be a top five rapper, maybe not top 10

The Carter I & II are his only albums with replay value. His last two albums have only gotten worse. He might stay prominent if the Carter IV is tight, but if he doesnt he could just as easily end up another irrelevant nigga who had a nice run and a couple hot albums

Wayne has 2 albums out of 7 albums that are even worth listening to, maybe 3...

Lupe is 2 for 2 and both could be played for a looong time...

Anyway, I don't think he has just a few good tracks. He has tons of good tracks, at least in my opinion. Out of all of his mixtapes and albums, the only one that I wasn't really feeling was Enemy of the State, and even that has some great songs on it. For me, I just feel that he's very creative with what he does. His wordplay is crazy, and it's not unusual for his metaphors to have double or even triple meanings depending on how you look at them. If you not feeling him, that's cool, but right now he's one of my favorites.
