It's been almost 3 years since his last album and understandably fans are feenin for a mixtape or something, but the man refuses to drop it because he thinks too much of his music is out there already. Hell No. I think falling off has more to do with diminished skills, less creativity, and lack of fresh ideas/topics more than it has to do with time taken to create and distribute an album. He may not be at the forefront of peoples' minds, but who cares if he allows himself time to make what I expect to be well thought out and inspired music.

But we can't determine his skills because he hasn't put that much music out there. After he cancelled that Friend Of The People mixtape cats started worrying. But i do hear what you saying though.

I expected so much more from Enemy Of The State, it wasn't nearly as good as his previous mixtapes.

at this point...its up to ATLANTIC...not lupe fiasco.

I did know about the Atlantic situation, i'm speaking about the quality & quantity of his music via his mixtapes. I know about the many concept changes for the album, i know Atlantic is sitting on the album for whatever reason. I know his fans want his music, i know he cancelled his Friend Of The People mixtape. I also know some of his fans are getting angry and jumping ship on him. Another question is: Should he drop another mixtape or something? This year is looking to be pretty good for hip hop, and his music is waaaaaaaay under the radar compared to his peers. Is he on his way to being forgotten in such a big year for hip hop?

I like the approach that he's not ripping out mixtapes out the asshole cuz thats how you oversaturate yourself then niggas start to hate you.
