Sorry, but compared to Lupe's previous shit, this album is trash, garbage, basura, whatever. Even if the label was trying to get him on some "make this type of music shit" he should have crafted better. He should have taken the label's lemons and made lemon juice. Instead it looks like he bullshitted his way through the project because he didn't think it would be released and when the fans pushed for it he supported the crap that got published. personally i think this atlantic records vs lupe shit is a new method of beef they are trying with mainstream artists to increase record sales. a new way to convert the so called "heads" to buying more mainstream hip hop. lupe was just the guinea pig for this experiment and it paid off well for both lupe and atlantic. we all been hoodwinked. I agree somewhat but this wasnt the Lasers he wanted. Lasers has been shelved 4 times until he made it more mainstream.

If this was the album that he wanted to make then it would have came out a lot sooner without being shelved. The album he wanted was mentioned on THE COOL, and it was to be called LupEND, his final album. He WANTED to record 3 albums and be out, but ATLANTIC wanted more albums from him.
