Uh oh... *sniffs* I sense a white boy! lmao 'never put his crew on' lmao sigh

Bobby Valentino fail
Shawna fail
Chingy fail
Playaz circle fail
Willy Northpole fail

Shit even 50 hasn't failed as much as Luda has

Of course this has nothing to do with his status as a rapper but it can't hurt to note how much of a failure his own Disturbing the peace label has been. Anyway since people want to talk about longevity when's the last time Ludacris had a platinum album? 5 years ago
Hes dropping mixtapes now so Universal must not be that confident in him anymore

I think Luda's mad that Drake & Big Sean are takin' credit for a rhyme style they didn't invent.

Somtimes the simplest posts are the best.

Boby Valentino has two gold albums, and actually carved out a nice career for himself
Shawna failed
Chingy has couple of platinum and gold albums
Playaz Circle failed, had a successful single in Duffle Bag Boy
Willy Northpole, who? lmfao

All execs have success and failures, i don't know why ya'll act like all these labels are bating a 100%.

After that cam verse (two arms up... touchdown) luda was reaching

And he coulda got any random kid to play "young luda" so video footage or Im callin ducktales

Big Sean and Drake used the EXAGERATED version of it, which i think we can all agree is whack as fuck

When them other dudes used it it was still lyrical, still dope, and u hardly noticed it.

The problem is, now when Drake just uses it normally, like how those guys did (i.e. "been hot before they opened doors for me, preheated oven) he STILL thinks he's bein a pioneer

And OBVIOUSLY he is not.

Buit even if u dismiss all the rest...you CANNOT deny that Kanye and CAM used it way before Drake and Sean.

-Cartoonish rap ish that Eminem gets destroyed on this very site over
-Southern Rapper who has a weakness for punchlines
-Never put his crew on like a lot of his peers did

Ludacris is wack
At this point in his career hes a better as an actor then he ever was as a rapper.
So when you can't make a respectable argument against Ludacris, you deflect to bullshit Eminem comparisons, the South, and Luda's success as a label executive? And his acting?

Drake and Shawn are pioneers of that dumb shit if Luda hopped on the bandwaggon when he used it line for line in his single. So in a sense he needs to sit down and stop acting like he aint a fanboy himself. Ironically, this track is the only reason alot of people even paying this mixtape any attention. Should be thankful Drake and Shawn gave him something to gripe about so his dusty ass career could pick back up

notice when Kanye started using it (07) is when Big Sean got signed.......

Big Sean was in the studio when Kanye created "Good Life". I remember Big Sean saying how him and Kanye where bouncing ideas around. Will try to find that interview. The interview was from like 2009 I think.

Yeah but what I mean is more specifically the twist they put on it. No one was doin it consistently with that emphasis til they started doin i., but I think its a lazy way to string together similies/metaphors anyway. Wack if u ask me.

exactly, Big Sean is still the only person to use that flow throughout the whole song i.e. "Supa Dupa"
Drake/Young Money copied him, leading other rappers (Luda, etc.) to copy that flow, especially after "Forever"

that's not to say Big Sean "created" the flow, but he expanded on it and popularized it.
