it's drake b/c drake said that luda was copying his style after that one track he had with nikki and he had that corny ass line. i forget the line

now this is a real shot

it's a shot at Drake, but the thing is, Drake was actually right..."I fill up her balloons" was easily one of the worst punchlines of last year...one of the worst of Luda's career...hell it's 1 year later and I still get annoyed if that song comes on the radio

True, "My Chick Bad" was wack, but Big Sean's corny punchlines on "Ass" and Drakes numerous corny lines like "I love ya like the ninja turtles love pizza" on "Good Girls Go Bad" are just as bad or worse.

I'm not trying to make this a Luda vs. Drake issue, but Drake and Sean shouldn't have opened their mouths

Drake said Big Sean was the first one he heard use it throughout a whole verse. I think that's accurate.

Big Sean thinking he invented the flow entirely - inaccurate.

Luda going in on them dudes - hilarious, but pointless.

I don't know why his feelings are hurt. That balloons and Macy's lines were ass cheeks. A dope MC should know when they scribbled some whack material. That shyt was whack. They called him out for it. Was it their place to call him out for that garbage? That's debatable. Those lines were as horrible as this track was amusing...BOI.

Pretty much this here...niggas is so caught up wanting somebody to diss Drake they'll co-sign whoever's doing it no matter why they're dissing him...is Ludacris a dope MC who can rap his ass off..yes...were those lines Drake called him out for wack as fuck...yes..."Coming down the street like a parade/Macys"...he's really mad somebody said that shit was wack?

They were asked questions and they answered them honestly...isn't that what people say rappers don't do enough of? So the nigga does what ya'll want and he shouldnt have said shit...but they say "nah everybody uses the flow good" and ya'll say "These niggas fake. They want to be friends too much. Why they not dissing each other"...ya'll fans need to make up your mind

Luda is wack and always been that way to me. He has little idea of how to diss someone properly IMO, because he is wack

That Luda line is no where as bad as that "it's going down, basement" shit by Nicki Minaj and she has a million of those. It was clearly a shot at Luda

But what i dont understand is HOW is this line whack...but not the entire concept of the EXAGGERATED pause/stop bullshyt flow whack?

hang it up-flat screen...they're all the same!!! wack!

So big Sean and DRake are the owners of that WACK shyt, where they say some corny shyt and feel the need to pause and let you digest just how corny it is.

They didnt invent the style, but they DID invent makign that shyt extra corny by exagerating it so much...so congratu- fukin- lations...that shyt is helpin kill hip hop more

I think Luda's mad that Drake & Big Sean are takin' credit for a rhyme style they didn't invent.

drake interview

Well, that flow has been killed by so many rappers. And, I never want to use that flow again in life. [Laughs] I wanted to take if off my album, because I was like, 'I shut 'em down. Onyx.' I hate the fact that that rhyme is still in there. To be honest, that flow, you can trace it back to like...I trace it back to Big Sean (artist on Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music). That's the first guy I heard utilize that flow throughout the duration of a verse. I'll give him that credit. I think Kanye got it from him. Me and Wayne found a dope way to do it. I don't want to sound cocky, but the best way its been used was on "Forever." Those lines just all individually make so much sense. They're all punchlines. Then a bunch of rappers started doing it and using the most terrible references in the world. I don't want to offend somebody...I hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [They go like] "It's a parade! MACY'S!" (All Hip Hop)

rip..drake the corndog

The funny thing about that statement is he acts like any usage of that style is clever. Almost all the lines using that style are dumb including the ones Drake does. Yeah, Luda's line was stupid but so is "You know I ball hard...chemo." And we don't even need to get into the dumb uses his YM partners come up with. Come on, Drake is feeling himself way too much.

^ This.

His not mad that they called his line wack, his mad because they called his line wack, and they claimed they invented that style.
