Well Ja Rule and Nelly certainly had a lot of hits and/or club bangers. Not saying they're the greatest MCs. I could name dozenz of rappers that can spit more lyrically, but they don't have any hits.

Its hard to pick ten

If you put so and so there then you gotta add him too.

For instance if you put TI you gotta put Luda. You also have to add Outkast

Nelly deserves as much credit as 50 they were just on the opposite ends of the spectrum

Idk I'll think about it

6 are set tho in no order

Jay

Em

Nas

Ye

Wayne

In no particular order:

Jay-Z

Nas

Eminem

Andre 3000

Big Boi

Ghostface Killah

Black Thought

Immortal Technique

MF Doom

Mos Def

smfh at people choosing Nelly

Nelly

Eminem

Jay-Z

Kanye West

50 Cent

Three 6 Mafia (Juicy J & DJ Paul)

Young Jeezy

Lil' Wayne

T.I.

Rick Ross

Hm: Gucci Mane & Nas

Drake and Nicki just barely missed the cut off date.

Nelly was huge for A 4 year span..Country Grammar did 10 Million..Nellyville Did like 7 Mill.everything he was touching was platinum or better for A minute..So idk why niggas are acting like he wasn't hot for a while..He aint in my top 10..but I wouldn't scoff at anybody that has him there tho

So confused at Nelly being mentioned in any kind of top MC list. Had you said rapper, artist, act, anything other than MC I would agree but nah. Nigga said Damian Marley, Im so lost.

Well it is like 10 years old. Shoot me.

Yup. Calling Nelly an "MC" is like calling Nickelback "composers".
