Whoever created Rap Genius is that nigga. Deciphering rap lyrics for people who dont understand is so simple but such a great idea and impactful

everybody listens to rap but the majority aren't from where these niggas are from and cant understand

smh wish i started that shit lol

Niggas can nosign me all they want. Wayne didn't become Wayne we know today until he started rhyming on them east coast beats, specifically Rocafella, Clipse, etc shit. Before that his flow was choppy and stoic as shit, he had a bounce flow. He started using more punchlines and wordplay which is a signature of east coast rappers.

lol because he did a freestyle over the Grinding beat on Sqad Up he was influenced by clipse?

Clipse had him on the official Grinding remix too btw

Mr Me Too was because he was wearing Bape hoodies in the Huster Musik video, and that shit was stupid because Chad gave him a deal with Bape

Yall really don't hear any clipse influence in that 2002-2005 era Wayne? Not saying he straight up jacked their flow but they weren't completly wrong for making mr me too at the time

Wayne had already dropped mutiple Sqad Up mix tapes when Clipse got on the scene. And was spitting on Lights Out (2000) and 500 degrees (2002)

So how can he Jack their flow when he was ready showing his growth at 17 on mutiple mixtapes before a nigga knew what a Clipse was.

Ok...so u just gonna overlook the fact that I said he DIDN'T jack their flow...all I really said was I could hear how they influenced him at a certain point in his career. Wayne fanclub sensitive as fuck, damn

How they influenced him when he was already doing it before a nigga knew who the Clipse was.

You're actually right, you just fucked it all up by mentioning Clipse. Let that part go

But its i obviously known that if Wayne was never influenced by East coast in them squad up tapes he'd lyrically be ass.

Apparently if you rap over a niggas beat you sound like them. He rapped over a missy beat on one of the sqad up mixtapes too, so shoutout to missy for birthing Wayne's style.

It's nothing to do with using clipse beats..I mean in his tone and delivery. And im talkin awhile back not recently yall act like Wayne just been rapping the same his whole career

I know people like to believe their favorite rapper invented music and never been influenced by nobody but that's just not reality

It's funny as hell that bcotton has to self report that he didn't read my posts. Lolol this nigga really in class rasing his hand to tell me he didn't read my posts.

Wayne is talented on his own accord but just like all people he was influenced by what he was exposed to.

If I remember correctly had some interactions with gilly (and major figgas) and then with juelz and dip set (Juelz also got the benefit of the southern influence on his art).Naturally it helped wayne to be more diverse as a person and an artist
