Not really wayne had released well over 4 projects with YMCMB. Wayne put himself in this position by re signing with stunna sandusky. He had the chance to leave the bushes about 10 years ago and resigned with them. He cold have easily went to sign with hov or other labels. Wayne ultimately put himself in this position. Around the time his first contract was up Birdman was starting to not pay people. But he stayed

And to be fair to Birdman in one aspect for a wayne project the Original C5 singles didn't gain much traction on the radio or singles wise. Believe me with drake went plat but the rest of them singles didn't fair well compaired to what you expect from wayne. Even Birdman knows C5 is a weedplate.
