A couple of lines I had were off cause the DJ doing ish to mess up the song. I need the dirty uncensored version CDQ with No DJ. That line like many were really hard, again reading the lyrics just made it more clear how bad Kim got her. Her team has to be scrambling right now. Kim put a stamp on Pink Friday opening week. Again it's going to sell but Kim made sure Nicki's history will forever be tied to her. Wow, 5:30 minutes and no hook of straight Ether. Again, "The Female Ether".

wow bolded is so true. after reading this i realized that there's no way nicki can really win from this. even if she comes back with heat it won't really matter, because now she will always be tied to lil kim. the way big & pac and jay & nas will always be tied together. 20 years from now if people are still talking about nicki minaj, they will also be talking about lil kim in the same breath. and nicki will always be compared to lil kim which is kim's whole point. so in the long run kim wins regardless.

if nicki had never said that roman's revenge was about kim, then kim never would have been justified to release a diss track. nicki showed her cards, and it backfired.

"Black Friday" is more popular than any Nicki Minaj Thread on All Hip Hop, Kim Won. LOL. And for the record Cham. Rolling Stone has no authority on who the Queen of our Genre are. Sorry. Biggie is smilin somewhere, Kim just put it down. Pac up there laughing with him too, lol. I bet Jay and Ye are like, "Damn, Kim got her". I never seen so many people trying to deny the obvious. You got people twitting trying to cop pleas for Nicki cause they know "Black Friday" brought the darkness on her, lol.

Lol word, a Lil Kim thread has the most posts on an online hip-hop forum that gets erased every 16 months while Nicki Minaj has the highest first week sales for a female rap album in history. Poor Nicki.

LOL @ copping pleas on Twitter. Joe Budden, Gangsta Boo, and Lil Mo is as celebritiy as it got on Twitter. The real celebs don't care enough. While Kim was dropping this crap, Nicki was headlining a show at the Hammerstein and bringing out Kanye, Rihanna, Drake, Banks, Keyshia Cole and Fab. At the same time people like Kim Kardasian, Axel Rose, Diddy, Usher, ect. were on Twitter or making headlines for hyping up/being seen purchasing Pink Friday. LOL @ you thinking this will magically shoot Kim up to the top of anything and make Nicki fade into oblivion.

And Rolling Stone, XXL, MTV, Pitchfork, ect, they all say the same thing. If Nicki isn't...than who is??............... :)

Lol who cares? This is a board full of dudes who can't stand Nicki in the first place. I been said Kim went hard[er than usual] but the song is weak, the diss is corny, and she sounds like she's just as bored with this beef as we all are.

Plus she was saying some stupid shit. Kim accusing anyone else of fucking for their career is very RICH.
laugh.gif

Either way nobody outside a hip-hop forum will care about this after 2 weeks, everyone will go back to not caring about Kim again unless it has something to do with Nicki Minaj, she's looks bitter and like a joke in the headlines, Pink Friday is still flying off the shelves and the music industry/celebs are loving it (the album, they don't care for this).

She got some heart for dissing Young Money and Diddy though (and whoever else she dissed, I don't remember) but that's kinda dumb. She's probably about to be blackballed. I wouldn't put it past her to be retarded enough to go at Eminem now for being on RR either. She's done a good job these past few years destroying her career, she might as well go out with a bang.

if you're so bored with the beef. then why do you keep coming back and posting in this thread. you don't seemed bored, you seem really invested.

and ftr, it doesn't matter if "the music industry/celebs are loving it (the album)". pink friday isn't anything special . not bad, but it defaintly wasn't anything groundbreaking or memorable.

"She was cool with her, she never said anything wrong about her dispite the sublminals than Nicki wanna be with Diddy talking about "Did I kill the Queen""

"Did I Kill A queen, the Alexander McQueens" was not a shot at Kim. Why do Kim and Lil Kim stans continue to try and make that happen? Kim was just jealous. Get over it.

well, since you like to throw the industry's opinion out there as fact of how great pink friday is let's look at the critical responce:

pink friday metascore rating: 70/100

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"In the end, Pink Friday is an ambitious, glossy stunner if fashion week is your favorite time of year, but Minaj didn't earn her diva status this way."-All Music Guide (70/100)

"Minaj will get praise for her depth of skills, but this album isn't about showing off a range of talents -- it's about leaning on the ones that have worked in the marketplace."-Pitchfork (65/100)

"Pink Friday, while certainly far from profound, is neatly rooted in predictability and vulgarity. But then again, would we have Minaj any other way?"-Paste Magazine (64/100)

"You're left with an album that's nearly fantastic, the frustrating sound of an artist who can't work out whether she should go her own way or try and fit in with the crowd, even when the right answer is staring her in the face."-The Guardian (60/100)

"It's this seeming lack of confidence, contradictory to the poise she shows elsewhere, which identifies the problems with Pink Friday, an often wobbly first effort that shows enormous promise."-Slant Magazine (60/100)
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

so yeah it seems like most of the major critics agree with my opinion that's it's ok, but nothing special.

now let's compare pink friday's metascore with other recent hip hop releases

my beautiful dark twisted fanatsy-93/100

sir lucious left foot-89/100

how i got over-85/100

those are universally acclaimed albums by critics. pink friday is average at best.

^There is no point arguing with Cham. He is purposely oblivious to his bias.

yeah i know, i still like to call him on his bs sometimes though. it's funny to watch him back himself in a corner and then come up with some lame excuse to get himself out of it.

you already know what he's gonna say. cause he always says the same thing:

nicki is popular. nicki album gonna sell. nicki had x number of songs on billboard.

Okay..you got a point..but will Nicki admit that shit? That Kim influenced her "eclectic" style...

Exactly at the bolded. Nicki Minaj came acts like that shit is original.

Original or not, Nicki shit is wack to me.

She might even be sexy but she hard for me to look at it. I look and I'm like -

  • yo why this bitch hair pink ?
  • Why her face look funny ?
  • Why this bitch look thick but only underneath some weird ass clothes ?
  • Why this bitch rhyme like a little boy ?

BTW I like the black friday joint. I haven't got up the nerve to listen to roman's revenge yet.

Uhh..sorry, but comparing Pink Friday to the 3 best reviewed hip-hop albums this year and posting the worst reviews you can find doesn't take away from the rave reviews it DID get like "Thank God for Pink Friday", the high scores like 87-89/100, and the tons of people going crazy over it. So obviously a lot of people think its special and YOU and a lot of others don't. You're trying to act like its a universal opinion.

70/100 Metacritic ain't bad and 65/100 from P'Fork especially isn't that bad. Its actually one of those "Hey, coulda been worse" moments. Especially since Nas' Untitled got like a 32/100. So Pink Friday > Untitled if you wana use that logic.

LOL you're just mad that I made you look like an idiot in the Pink Friday thread for saying I'm biased because I said hip-hop reviews don't matter towards albums that go beyond hip-hop. And you couldn't even explain how.

Furthermore, hip-hop reviews have been coming in and they actually scored it BETTER than most other reviews so you look even more stupid now. Egg all over your face. And they STILL DON'T MATTER lmao.

Lil Kim is one of the highest selling female rappers ever. Her sales in the last 5 years won't change that Fact. Unless Nicki moves major units, Kim will have her beat in sales for years to come. Nicki will have a bigger 1st week than Kim has had her career with "Pink Friday" for sure but again it's doubtful she moves the units Kim has.

The picture is real and it proves Kim's point. She was cool with her, she never said anything wrong about her dispite the sublminals than Nicki wanna be with Diddy talking about "Did I kill the Queen", I think that was the point Kim had enough. Diddy was in Kim's 1st single:

Lil_Kim_NoTime__16x20.jpg

What subliminals? I remember hearing audio of Nicki givin respect to all the big female artists before her. If subliminals you talkin about are saying your better than everyone else, if that is a shot at kim then that means every rapper is shootin subliminals at every other rapper. Post lyrics goin at kim before "Monster",before the Ray J and lil kim attack on nicki. She just tryin to get attention. Nicki bit the bait Now lil kim is gettin the atttention she wanted

I explained it in the last few pages of the Pink Friday thread. I'm not explaining it again. If anything I'll just copy and paste what I said in there.
