If you've listened to all of Kim's interviews, you hear her talk about Nicki, but then when she starts talking about the people around Nicki right now, she just gets angrier.

I think her REAL BEEF is with Slim, Baby, and Puffy. Not Nicki. But she's projecting all of her aggravation of Nicki.

Honestly, Im not into that taking sides but hating irritates me. If you goin hate, hate silently but Kim making her hate known and its obvious shes hating. i think this whole situation has less to do with being upset over words or jealousy of success and more to do with position in the game. kim seems to make that clear in this interview. she's basically says of the jump that she's using this battle with nicki to get back on top. which is pretty common in hip hop. look at how many people go at jay-z. he's on top and they're attacking him so they can try take the spot. hell, even jay went at nas on takeover so he could claim the king of new york title. and nicki knows what's going on "is this the thanks that I get for puttin' you bitches on...shoulda sent a thank-you note, you little ho".

and imo kim has the right to go at nicki, cause nicki was taking shots at kim when kim was still on top back in '03. on the track h.o.o.d.s.t.a.r.s, nicki says "i'm coming for the crown, kim. that's the word." you can't get more clear than that. now that nicki claims to be the "new queen of hip hop" she has to defend the crown.

it's all about publicity and industry positioning. kim's using nicki to get some attention. nicki used kim to promote her album. as long as they keep it on wax, let em battle.

Basically. But I still think it goes beyond Nicki herself. Nicki cost Kim a record deal with Cash Money. She said in the past that she was rolling with Slim and the Cash Money crew before Nicki and that Slim and Kim were going to do business together and then Wayne brought Nicki in and it changed the whole situation.

And then Kim says shit like "Nicki wants to be the only one" when Nicki has worked with just about as many female rappers as Kim has.

I felt bad kind of watching it cos she was trying to convince Angie, the people listening, and herself that she's not over. She even said it, "I'm not done."
