The problem with the petty experience is that all though you do get to drive a real stock car you only get to do it with a pace car and only up to about 140. If you have ever been in a purpose built race car, 140mph feels like 50 in a street car. Dont get me wrong it was a wonderful experience but I definately should have tried the ProFormance Racing School, or the Mario Andretti Racing Experience. I have read on their sites that you get to go over 145 and as fast as your skill and the car will allow,(this should approach 202 mph). The most affordable of which looks to be the Dale Jarret racing schools followed by the Andretti Experience. Both schools claim to be the fastest schools and the claims seem to be supported by the youtube videos and reviews I have found.
