i feel what he sayin, flip was on that ballin flossin freestyle king shit, on some records he started soundin kinda tough, i aint think nothin of it but i can see why don ke would feel that way, but still after the beef texas coulda held flip down a lil better tho. even tho he did get wacker.

I always ain't like how it seemed like Houston turned on Flip after that. And Scarface pulled a old nigga move on him after all Flip did was give honor to him

Flip career backfire because he was ultimately a wack corny rapper. Where as TI is probably top 5 from the south.

But TI started the beef, how was Flip supposed to respond? If he wouldn't of responded then people would've been calling him a hoe & then TI got caught looking like a raccoon in that 3 kingz video with that black eye.

Face didn't help neither by jumping in their beef

tip said flip kinda started that shit. flip was tryna holla at tiny or some shit which lead flip to speak ill of ti. word gets back to tip (who was in jail at the time) & u know the rest..

so apparently mayweather isnt the 1st beef tip has been in behind tiny..

no gossip girl..

Truth be told, a lot of them older S.U,C, kats didn't even mess with Flip before he blew up. You been rapping for years putting in work then you have this young dude jump in the game and blow right past you, not many embraced him. Face one of the all-time coldest on the mic, but he pulled a ho' move shittin' on Flip when we know damn well he was still salty behind the kid not signing with Def Jam South.

that spoil u like milk line is what did it for me

But the thing is that other rappers have used that line...I still don't understand how he fell from grace so fast

Flip fell off hard musically after he dropped Underground Legend, him and Hump stopped messing with each other and he switched his whole style up. He got more into that gun/trap/hustle talk and kind of got away from what made people like his music. I Need Mine is an underrated double album imo though.

I feel what Keke was saying but like what T. Sanford said what was he supposed to do?

Texas was already in the process of whoring out our culture and T.I. came along and hopped on the wave by aligning with Slim Thug and Paul Wall(two of the faces of Texas music at the time) as well as Trae, Lil 3rd and Hump. Scarface is top 5 d.o.a but he definitely pulled a hoe move acting like he didn't know Flip when he tried to sign him when became president of Def Jam South.UGK was neutral for the most part and were doing songs with both artist but they appeared with T.I. a lot during this time too. So it looked the entire state was riding with the outsider and T.I. was going at Flips neck while he sat back and let it happen for the most part. He dropped some freestyle disses/mixtape but he didnt respond like he should have and like how people expected because of how he broke off 3rd, Lil Flex and ESG.

The only people that were really holding down Flip were Z-Ro, Chamillion and The Botany Boyz. Everybody else turned that back on him or kind of gave him the Mike Jones treatment even though if you look at his first album you see ESG on it, you see Slim Thug on it as well as a lot of other dudes he gave a good look to by putting them on his album.
