I mean yea, the hood plays Gucci Mane more than Jay and females play Drake more than Jay but that's insignificant to who makes better music right?

does it bother anyone else that jay z admitted that this album is not as good as his other albums?

when a seasoned vet cant even take the time to try to push himself to the limit, its disappointing

MCHG is a forced fed piece of shit thats starting to wear off. Niggas already talking about the album is old. Critics are finally waking up to Jay Z formula of tired albums about material possesions. you jiggafucks keep on praising his 20 million dollars but look what he left for you dumb ass niggas to feed off. a 49 year old clown rapping about swag, miley cirus and mollies. LIG was a well thought out, written and delivered album that gave and ironic statement about what we know about nas personals/finacial troubles. MCHG was a sellout album. it didnt come from Jay Z soul. like i been saying with a title like "holy grail" i thought this nigga was finally going to drop the album that would banish us haters from the face of earth. I thought this was going to be Jay Z back on that Jay Z shit. its no need to talk about how much of a let down this album is. nothing from the heart this album was corporate sponsored. Samsung. HBO. NY Theatre of Arts, etc. This is why i wish Ultemecia could time kompress all of us niggas back to 1990 so we can all give MC HAMMER a personal apology for hating on him doing the #NEWRULES 23 years before the long mouthed homo. Once again Jay Z brings nothing new to hip hop but yet he bites and rewrites hip hop history. Why are you jiggabitches riding so hard for a nigga that called you fans "WORTHLESS" on his album. this the third time he put his titties on the glass and straight up dissed you stupid ass motherfuckers

usmarine-fan that got called worthless by his favorite rapper Jay Z

texasdaking88-fan that got called worthless by his favorite rapper Jay Z

JDSTAYWITIT-fan that got called worthless by his favorite rapper Jay Z

let that shit soak in. yall riding so hard about his business numbers. yes. jay z is a business machine but you niggas arent down with his cause. you niggas are pawns, numbers, figures, adjustments. Jay Z dont see you fags at the concert he see numerical figures. You got Nas spitting about real life shit on LIG. if anything you need to listen to the tone of voice and see where he is at mentally despite his troubles. Nas is a stronger nigga than that flip flop rocking bitch. Jay Z act like the middle child that the parents overslept the abortion consultation for. a young nigga rapping about wealth=show off. a 30 year old rapping about wealth=arrogant fuck, a 49 year old rapping about wealth for past 17 years=insecure, immature. ok so what he got that rare 12 million dollar car. why he not out whipping that motherfucker enjoying life letting the smoke and peeled rubber make us STFU instead of hearing about it described lazily and boringly on his album. yawn. fuck MCHG. LIG another solid Nas album. Hip Hop is so fortunate to have someone talented like Nas to turn its nose up on cause if we didnt we be in big trouble. Imagine Jay Z accepting responsiblity for taking the artform of lyricism to the next decade with classic quotables like Tom Ford

hey man i hear ya ... and your entitled to your opinion but @ the end of the day ... i got MCHG for free and i ended up buying it @ best buy .... its def a dope album .... is it classic nope ... is every song listenable ?? hell no ... def do alot of skipping but the songs i like .... are super dope like oceans, futw, picassso baby, fuckwithmeyouknowigotit, Roc lafamilia .... i constantly rotate thru them songs ... he could cut the album down to just them songs and id be aight .......

but yeah its dope and he gave away 1 million free joints .... ijs as a fan you gotta appreciate that .. i dont care what jayz made .... he gave it away to the fans for free ..... even if it was garbage from top to bottom how could you be mad @ that ???

if by other albums you mean reasonable doubt, the blueprint, and black album?

those are the only albums jay feels are better than mchg at the moment

RD, B1, BA are really only Jay albums without wack songs on them. Then you have vol. 1 and AG that have 1-2 songs that are skip material. Rest are mostly half wack-half great albums. That doesn't mean that he doesn't deserevs to be mentioned as one of the goats. He arguably has best live performance, his breath control is something that is above everybody else.

With that said Nas has more great albums but his live show is just ok, it improved greatly after touring with Damien.

For me Nas is number 1, then are rest of the goats (Jay, Rakim, BDK, LL, Scarface, DOOM; Kool Keith, G Rap, Pac, Big, Common, etc.).

if thats what he said, thts what he said.

not many rappers can compete with jay.

those albums should be his competition every time he drops.

From Stay, to The World Is an Addiction, to Black Bond to Nasty, to Daughters, you gotta love the range on Life Is Good. Damn near a classic. MCHG was cute, pause.
