It's hip-hop. It's the most competitive form of music. If the internet was around in the golden era, you would have seen countless threads for Rakim v Big Daddy Kane. The question always comes down to "who's better " it's been like that since the birth of hip-hop. Nothing is going to ever change that because it's in the culture.

That being said, I've listened to MCHG and I simply don't think it's a good Jay album. I hate to say it but AG may be the last great Jay-Z Jay Z album we ever hear.

Lyrically speaking, I feel like LIG kicks MCHG's ass. Production is larger and grander on MC though. I felt like the production on LIG complimented the lyrics well though.
