I really haven't seen that much hate for LIG. I think it was widely recognized as a great Nas album

Maybe I'm just souring with rap in general, but LiG was just ok to me and MCHG was trash. Now me think MCHG was trash is no big deal since I'm not a Jay fan, but I actually like Nas. It's not that I think LiG is a bad album. I think it's just ok. I just don't quite see what everyone else sees in it. Like even one of my homeboys who mostly listens to shit like Jeezy and Rick Ross thinks LiG is a great album, but no matter how many times I listen to it, I don't see it. If I ranked it in Nas' discography it would be middle of the road.
