Lets settle this, Who better Jayz or Nas

Jay Z isn't even the best Coke/Hustler/Mafasio Rapper Raekwon, Ghostface, T.I., 50 Cent, Rick Ross, Pusha T, Biggie Smalls, Young Jeezy are better as far as Catalouge and Song Making/Song Writting about Hustling Coke and Street Rap, better at Writting and Performing Hook's too and have better Beat Slection

Ready To Die, Only Built For Cuban Linx, Only Built For Cuban Linx Part 2, Fishscale, Get Rich Or Die Tryin, Thug Motivation 101, Port Of Amiami, Trilla, Deeper Than Rap, Teflon Don, Trap Muzik>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Reasonable Doubt as far as Hustler/Coke Dealer/Street/Mafiaso Rap

Jay Z's biggest asset is Flow and Freestyling

Jay Z's weakness are Song Writting with Substance, Writing Introperspective Personal Song's, lacking Emotion, Writting and Performing Hook's, being able to consistantly put out good Album's

Nas average Album's God's Son and Untitled>>>>>>>>>>>>Jay Z's average Album's The Black Album

Whoa youre bugging fam if you think God's Son and Untitled are average. Even Black album is better than average. Even though I think Nas is a better artist and rapper than Jiggaman, some of ya are really coming off stannish acting like Jay didn't drop solid albums. Some of ya are making it look like Jay is on the same level with a wack rapper like Tony Fako or that other bum jim jones.

The Black Album is 5/10 definitley an average Album and God's Son is a 6/10 Album and Untitled is 6/10

Jay Z did have a solid Album with The Blueprint and a good Album with Reasonable Doubt but the rest are either extremley poor or below average to average

His catalouge overall is 1 of the worst in Hip Hop

Nas is in the top 15 range as far as G.O.A. T list

Jay Z is in the 60 range

Wish I could flap wings and fly away/ To where black kings and Ghana stay /So I could get on my flesh right away

But that'll be the day when it's peace/ When my gat don't need to spray/ When these streets are safe to play

I'm from where the hammer's rung , New's cameras never come You and your man's hung in every verse in your rhyme

where the grams is slung , niggas vanish every summer

Where the blue vans would come , we throw the work in the can and run Where the plans was to get funds and skate off the set

To achieve this goal quicker, sold all my weight wet Faced with immeasurable odds still I get straight bets So I felt some more something and you nothing check

I from the other side with other guys don't walk to much And girls in the projects wouldn't fuck us if we talked too much So they ran up Tompkins and sought them dudes to trust I don't know what the fuck they thought, those niggas is foul just like us

I'm from where the beef is inevitable, Summertime's unforgetable

this makes your opinion invalid... ask ANYONE that knows hip hop, these albums are borderline classics, regardless of who you like... they may have not been RD or Illmatic, but this was Jay and Nas at their best

better question, who had the better double album? people hate BP2 and SD, but i like them both... i think BP2 is better tho honestly, better beats and Jay's flow was crazy on that, even tho he went pop on it... Nas, exact opposite, kept it hood, but the music was kinda bland

Ha, good comparison. That's like comparing their worst albums, Nastradamus and BP3, i prefer Nastradamus.

jay-z has better beats, no denying that, but nas experiments more with music and concepts, he's more of an artist, and is better lyrically, save rd jay-z.

True ive always thought.. who is making the decisions on who NAS gets beats from??

If the thread is who is the best rapper based on talent its NAS. Jay paid homage to NAS by sampling him on his first hit Dead Presidents by sampling the World is Yours! Jigga got a lot of his style listening to NAS but would probably never admit!

ARTIST advantage NAS

BUSINESS huge advantage JAY-Z
