Fuck. Can't vote Trick Daddy as a legend and Talib isn't.

lol I would say No Talib isn't. I don't think he has a individual classic album. I do believe Mos Def is a legend though.

They both share a group classic w/ Blackstar and both of their first solos are classics imo but after that...

Talibs discography>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mos

Nothing TK has released is better than Black on Both Sides or The Ecstatic. Not to mention Mos Def is more polished and a better artist. TK sounds like he be reading off a notepad in the both forcing 100000 words in his bar. That nigga got that Papoose syndrome of not sounding fluid when he raps.

another case of dope rapper but not a legend

that being said you know all the southern hip hop heads are gonna vote no out of spite

once again, gtfo

don't speak for "all the southern hip hop heads"

but I forgive you, for you know not what you speak lol

Y'all call everything a fucking classic nowadays. What next. The Rawkus Sounbombing album is a classic too.

Quality is just as good as Black on Both Sides.

The Ecstatic? Really? Train of Thought, Eardrum, Beautiful Struggle, pick one, any one they all shit on the Ecstatic and the rest of Mos' catalog

Wouldn't even call him a NYC legend.

Because NY got too much juice lol

Had kweli been from Ohio he would be top 5 ever Midwest lol

I mean if Ohio or even the midwest for that matter got behind him like that, maybe. I think he only appeals to a small amount of ppl. I'd call him a poor man's Common without the crispy flow.

I'm staying impartial but lemme ask

Throughout hiphop's entire history you would consider trick daddy more of a legend and having higher status than talib kweli? (I have to keep using trick because he's the only other person I can reference right now)

Overall, yes. Numbers dont lie.

numbers dont mean shit

Talib can rap circles around Trick

And Canibus can rap circles around Kweli. What's your point.

THAT NUMBERS DON'T MEAN SHIT!

Numbers dont mean shit as far as if u can rap good.

But numbers do prove you have a fan base.

I would think a "legend" should at least have a fan base

For your peak 1st week sales to be 21k is pretty unimpressive. And this was 2000 when albums were selling.

No it doesn't. Buying music isn't the only way to financially support an artist.

No Stewie, legends aren't going wood without any accolades to their names.
