Not at all.. Jordan had Pippen and Phl, Magic had Kareem and Worthy, Bird had Parrish and Mchale, Even Erving Had Malone and Bobby Jones. Kobe is the ultimate compiler of stats. She shoots in volume... At the NBA level, any top tier player should be able to avg 27-31 ppg if they get 25-30 shots per game. With the talent that the Lakers currently have, Kobe should easily average 7-9 Assists per game... he doesn't. Lamar Odem should be an Al Star based on his skill set with Kobe, he aint. Kobe does not and has not made his 'lesser' teammates better... It's not in his DNA to do so.

Odom's problems are his own. He shouldve been an all-star long before he got with Kobe.

And who in this league are turning their lesser plates into all-stars? Besides what the big 3 in Boston did for Rondo, nobody is.

Why didn't Wade turn Beasley into an all-star? Who LeBron turning into all-stars?

Looks ok to me. Only time Wade got loose was on the high pick and roll with Bosh, which when performed correctly, basically forces a defensive switch. And of course Wade can blow by Odom/Gasol.
