Killer cannot be taken seriously no one who advocated as strongly as he did for Bernie Sanders should be listened to when they talk about economics

I thought it was a really good interview. A lot of solid points dealing with making your own success and forget about the handouts that aren't coming. I had written him off as a lunatic when he was raving about the Great White Hope Bernie Sanders. He's back from that dark place finally.

He's basically reflecting my previous statements on the importance of voting.

After the Tariq Nasheed video, you guys jumped on the "ion give a fuck about voting" bandwagon.

Those ideas are misplaced, and very destructive to our communities. And falls right into plans of the "powers that be."

Until we have a viable alternative to voting, ie. (An economic solution that substitutes for a lack of voting that gives us political power) we must vote.

Otherwise, we subjugate ourselves to 2nd class citizenship. Municipalities, and local governments will use our tax dollars to fund OTHER communities that do vote(better infrastructure, community centers, more public school funding, etc.

Our political representatives only pay attention to two things, money and voters. We don't have much household wealth per-capita in our communities. So for now, voting is our best chance to get our voices heard, and effect public policy that directly affects us. Like Anita Alvarez, who got voted out as prosecutor in the Laquan MacDonald case when she sat on the video footage of the cop murdering him in the street. Chi-town ninjas voted that slimy corrupt bitch out of her job.

Imagine if the black people in Colorado, and Washington state (and D.C) had the ion give a fuck about voting attitude. The ballot initiative & referendum to legalize marijuana would have failed, and weed would still be illegal. Thus leading to more niggas getting locked up for having a fucking blunt in their pocket.

Killer Mike "killed" this interview.

My issue with Killer Mike is that he wont run for a office.. Start small with a city council position and try to make a change from within.. He has a big enough platform and the hood is his constituency.
