When was the last time you've even see Gary Payton's name even mentioned on these boards? I'm not hatin', although I do hate that nigga, but there's nothing about him to make you remember him. He wasn't particularly polarizing, he played it safe and played his position. He was a smilin' ass nigga. This mean mug shit didn't start coming out till a couple years ago. I'll buy some urination and burning! They look like they weigh two pounds each. With all the big players in the history of the Celtics / Celtics pride and what not. I'm not saying that KG is more of a Celtics T-wolf, but just being part of the Celtics tradition and be part of something that the likes of Russell, Bird, Hondo, etc. were part of has an impact on you and is something they want to embrace the future.
