This why I say its classic

People are reciting his lyrics godammit

Whoever truly dislikes truly has problem

What's funnier is that in the first 20 pages of this thread there GOAT trains for as long as they can go with niggas bigging up the album. Then in the last 20 pages niggas switch blade just to be different SMMFH. Goes to show you who really listens and supports rap versus those who just skim through it and want a cool beat with nothing in the lyrics.

Niggas wanted a mainstream rapper to drop an album like this for over 20 years and when one actually does they feel uncomfortable. It reminds me of when Obama was running for President and actually won and the day after you had niggas who were proud and then you had coon ass niggas who were so used to being mentally enslaved they didn't know it was possible to simply take the shackles off LOLOLOLOL. I think TPAB is a classic. There's no other album that spoke to the current times and plights facing Black America the way that album did.

Closest thing was:

Man, I'm late to that Colbert performance, but man Kendrick is just on some other shit. It's not even Hip Hop anymore. He is reaching that level as a ARTIST where he is becoming a historical imprint in art. He will be remembered in time.

I'm veeery curious to see what his next album or project message will be. It's crazy how much music 2015 had. From the high socially aware projects to the club/radio albums 2015 been a wild ride. It's a shame TPAB was released so early because the microwave generation will forget it's impact on music based on the "turnt" sound that respectfully delivered in closing this year out.

I still have Tetsu and Youth as my favorite album this year. But TPAB is right behind it and will be more historic in the future.

whats wrong with thinking drake puts out better music tho, shit would be lame if everyone thought the same

Im just saying that y'all knew the message k dot was trying make for this album

And fact that y'all called it trash is alarming.

I'm not saying you have to like tho.

So people I know said was ok and they appreciated what k dot did, but to say this kinda album is trash is verity disrespectful.

You had to be hard headed not understand what k dot is try to portray.

im not in the yall i never called it trash, i think k-dot's a good artist but i havent even heard this album yet, im just playing devil's advocate. i personally dont think the music has to be liked for the message to be respected.

That's what I'm saying.

No one is forcing niggas to like this.

I'm just saying people should show more appreciation to what he was trying do.
