These walls is dope

Verse 1 is about the "walls" of fame

Verse 2 is about vagina "walls" of a girl Kendrick sleeping with

Verse 3 is about the jail "walls" surrounding the dude that killed kendricks homebody on sing about me and how Kendrick is fucking his girl from verse 2..

Shit is krazy..ppl aren't REALLY listening to this album..they hear it but they aren't LISTENING

I think you got verse 2 & verse 1 flipped.

Yeah you right...

LOL @ the production on this album being "generic" .. everyone is entitled to their opinions though

Gather a host of HipHop albums released in the last 3 years under a major record label and tell me how many of them have mostly soulful with infused jazz production on 'em?

I mean in the last year or so DJ Mustard has been the 'go to guy' for radio singles. That's "generic" to me

You only get these shits released underground or via bandcamp or okayplayer or independently

The fuck? This dude just named his favorite albums. Those albums had mostly soulful with infused jazz production?

The Production on FHD is good especially considering the generic soundscape of hip-hop these days and its good for Cole but its just not as musical as the production on T&Y and TPAB.

I think the album may grow on some people. But I think whether you will like the album or not on the first listen depends on your taste In music. Lupe is hands down my favorite rapper these days. All these years of listening to bruh has me listening to every song I hear as its one of his....and in the case of To Pimp A Butterfly, its a deep project.

After reading a lot of the opinions on here , it seems to me that most of the Lupe fans like this album too...but those that don't seem to feel the same about this album. There are a few outliers...

Besides all that tho...this is bout to be on heavy rotation for a LONG TIME...
