Where the hell is Kendrick? Everybody's got something to say about Kendrick but Kendrick. That who I wanna here from. He been quiet as hell.

He's sittin back laughing at everybody. He played it perfect and the morons responded to it.

Everybody's checking for TDE's next effort. Whomever gets the next Kendrick feature/release will benefit greatly from this exposure.

Nas doesn't give a shit because he doesn't have to. He's battle proven and has at least five classic albums under his belt. If I were him I wouldn't give a shit either. I'd be like go head "rumble young man rumble".

What's lost in all this is that Jay Electronica dropped an ill ass verse, but like they say controversy sells.

Both Big Sean AND Jay Electronica. You niggas are gonna wake up to his verse eventually. I really don't fuck with Big Sean like that but I can call a spade a spade

Nas has nothing but praise for Kendrick's verse.

Much has been said about Kendrick Lamar's "Control" verse, and while many have shared their responses, there are a few rappers we'd still like to hear from-- Nas being one of them. Miss Info was able to get a hold of the rapper, and get his thoughts on Kendrick's verse, his claim of being "King Of New York," and restoring the competitive nature in hip hop.

Despite Kendrick claiming ownership of Nas' hometown, the legend had nothing but praise for K-Dot. “Wow. My reaction is wow." he said. "I love hip-hop right now."

The "Life Is Good" rapper then spoke of the last time hip hop was this competitive. "Certain fans like certain eras of rap, certain fans are not up on certain eras, so they don’t really remember all of them." he said, indicating that different times in hip hop are special to different people, but did name a few names. "KRS-One, MC Shan and all the way to Busy Bee. This is what hip-hop is all about."

As far as what K-Dot meant when he claimed the title of "King Of New York," Nas made sure to stay out of the conversation and just enjoy the verse from a fan's perspective. "You gotta ask [Kendrick what he meant]. I’m a listener.” he said.

Nas got child support to pay. He ain't gonna knock on new money. I bet he's planning to work on "One Nation" with the spawn of Makaveli. Kelis and the IRS won.

Why is everyone shocked NaS don't gave 2 f@cks? In his response he basically acted like the song didn't exsist, lol. Kendrick is beneath him. Honestly the Vets of the Crown don't need to respond. Like Lupe said, Kendrick is a baby wanting attention. He didn't think that "NY" line through. Anyways Papoose is going for K Dot's head. New Mixtape dropping:

Obviously k.not meant he was the the best rapper right now as the king of New York title has been synonyms with the best rapper in the game since the golden era. He didn't mean it as disrespect but stupid niggas will see what they want.

Lol pap trying to get a second album release date.

Kendric actually gave Nas and Jay props in the song with his Kendric Jay z or Nas line in control. I can tell some of yall dont listen to lyrics very well. I think he gave Andre 3000 props too and said something like but the rest of you niggas yada yada yada. If a nigga gives you props in a song why should you respond when the king of NY shit was meant more metaphorical than kendric litterally thinking that? Nas was 100% right to shrug the shit off, he actually should be proud of K dot if anything.

I like the way Nas responded. You can tell he's a hiphop grandfather. He's letting the kids play in the sandbox, while he just listens to them fight.
