NY rappers are really in they feelings though.

If I was from NY I wouldn't really take it as a diss just him saying he the best rapper out right now.... Some of these niggas just using this to get some shine

Old "this is my chance" ass niggas

so B.O.B, Lupe, and Cassidy was in their feelings too or nah?

I said New York rappers catching feelings about the King of NY line

All I'm expecting is for niggas to step it up a bit on mixtapes and albums...

Like Drake might wanna take another look at his album right quick...keep it current...name names etc

And positives have already come out of this...like that nigga Gold...I will download his mixtape and rotate it for a while on the iPhone...never heard of that guy...his response was tough
.

this what i'm saying....if niggaz making names for themselves off of this shit...it can only be a plus..

1. we know he can spit

2. he ain't gonna pussy foot around dissing a nigga

hip hop needs more of that...

so everyone can respond without feelings except Nyers right?

Until he gets on and then it's 'all good' and 'I'm just humbled to be around nigga's I listened to and who inspired me'

I got up this morning and looked online and Kendrick Lamar was on the front page of yahoo trending, so I'm like what happened then I get on here and niggas talking bout Kendrick went in, I go listen to the song on youtube and I was like DAMN K. Dot killed it and then I see all this niggas getting heated and throwing out responds left and right.

I'm glad K. Dot did this because Hip Hop needs to wake up, too much watered down average bullshit been coming out and I have lost interest in Hip Hop and then Kendrick did this and woke niggas up, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!

Hell even Phil Jackson responded to the record on bleacher report lol.

Schoolboy Q Jay Rock or Ab Soul should make a response to kendrick .... That would really put all of this shit into perspective IMO

Schoolboy Q ain't built for a lyrical bout. Jay Rock and Ab Soul could give him some brotherly competition.

when i see this, i just can't help to think you not a fan of hip hop...

i see this as a open challenege to anyone who considers themself a spitter...

so far king los, gold and astro have all dropped very hot and relevant responses....

and i love that they did....they're what makes this really interesting

No doubt. I get it. Makes me seem like a bandwagon dude. I get it.

Its just too cliche imo. I listen to plenty new dudes, but 'diss dongs' from uninvolved parties are just dumb to me, regardless of the quality.

Its like if a random dude dropped a 'fuk Jay z' song right now, and it was FLAMES. It wouldnt matter to me b/c its not relevant. Not that the rapper isnt relevant, but his reason for spittin is irrelevant

If im in the minority im 100% cool with that, but I'm not listenin to 'Gold' spit random, cliche, "insert metaphor here" bars. Im good.

I agree somewhat

I listened to every song dropped tho

Few got more than one listen, and by few I mean Joell, Lupe, and Cass

Thats wausp. B/c they have the equity in this game to speak, right? (dont u hate when a ngga give you the answer he wanna hear)

But what about the random dudes? (Mickey, Gold, Astro (?): Real queston: Will you ever proactively hear them shyts again? Like forreal, EVER Lol

If i'm wrong, im wrong. Maybe its just me.

Exactly...like even though I was clowning @Du_Du about King Los I went back and listened to his track and that shit was fire. Now I got a new rapper i hadn't heard yet to listen to because he showed he can spit and hold his own

Don't know if anyone mentioned this, but Lupe pretty much dissed Wayne and 2chainz in SLR2, and no one ain't say shit about it.

He would probably deny it, and it may have not been intended, but it's still a diss when you think about it.

Niggas think they Jappin' cause they rappin' like they Wayne

Rappin' like they Chainz

I ain't matchin' them in platinum

But I'm rappin' like I'm flames

Like smackin' them in the back of him and my antonyms is on 'cain

And my heroin is on metaphors and my metaphors is on brains

My left foot is in LA but my right foot is in Spain

Now we all heard what he said, but what he said means we dead

And that shit is insane

He's so crazy, look at the little baby

Nigga you ain't Nas, nigga you ain't Jay-Z

That basically came off as him saying niggas think they hot if they spitting like Wayne or 2chainz, but they really not, because Wayne and 2chainz ain't that hot, and he follows that up with his platinum line, and we all know Wayne is a multi plat seller. (and Kendrick went plat)

I crossed the rest out because it's questionable about whether he is still going at Wayne, or did he switch back to Kendrick, or he may just be going at rappers in general.

Lupe shit was ass smh I mad I listened to that chump

Cass shit was dope tho.he should've went at meek like that

Respond to a direct callout with a slick line or subliminal? That's wack.
