Im slowly readin thru this thread, but the fact that NUMEROUS cats r sayin 'big sean verse aint that bad' is why we here in the first place.

It takes a verse like Kendricks to show how average most these new nggas are! Aside from Jay elec, the guys name droped are Average! They get good production and tell oaisionally good stories, but they are not it. Not in comparison to thier pedecessors. Thank you Kendrick Lamar (who is overhyped himself) for highlighting exctly that point.

However...Now watch Joe Budden show that Kendrick is not '90s nice' either and show the even higher level

What the hell is 90's nice? If a rapper is nice he's nice. It's like when people say certain athletes wouldn't be good if they played in the past. If you're good enough your talent will always shine through. Not every rapper in the 90's was "90's nice" yet we still remember their songs and fuck with their music.
