Kendrick is the man when it comes making a single song seem like multiple songs. The album is great.

I tried listening to that Joey Badass album. The dude got skills, but that album is boring to me. I don't know what it is. He's nice on the mic and the subject matter is great, but the album itself just didn't do anything for me.

Look, I knew nothing about dude. I only checked the album out on Spotify off the strength of y'all boosting it up. After like the fourth sing I was basically just listening to convince myself that I was missing something. The album was like a trance song to me. It just droned on without anything standing out. Every song seemed like more if the same.

I fuck with the album heavy but when my girl was in the car she looked at me like 3 songs in and said "We gone have to put on somethin else or imma fall sleep in here."

I feel you on the hyperbole as far as it being a classic historically, but in a sea of bullshit, when something dope comes along it's a breath of fresh air!

It's like drowning and you get above the water and take that life saving breath. It's the same breath you took for granted yesterday, but now it means so much more!

I get your analogy.. This album just isn't that good to me.. Kenny on there rapping.. But musically it's lacking.. Diddy was on the gram talking about Kenny got soul.. Diddy on payroll too..

You know what this reminds me of.. This reminds me of when Wayne dropped the Carter 3.. All the hype that album got.. And the Carter 2 was clearly the better project..

Yo man.. That sheep comment is real.. I've been in the crib all day watching the NBA Playoffs and every arena they are playing be humble.. It's in commercials.. U got Rosenberg calling Kenny the GOAT.. Like c'mon this is all to generate interest to get a whole bunch of people to either buy or stream the album and inflate the first week numbers.

Now I don't doubt that a lot of folks in here actually like this album. But there are also a lot of people out there claiming this thing is a some sort of masterpiece when in all actuality it isn't. This isn't to be confused with me saying that Kenny is a wack rapper. Kenny can rap his ass off.. But this shit simply isn't that good to me.. There are a couple of albums that have come out this year already that are better IMO..

A lot of people are in the heat of the moment, but we'll see how they look at this album a year from now.

That said, calling people sheep cause most of em feel what you dont is foolish. "Humble" doesn't bang? C'mon man.

Instead, their idea of the real shit was some other dude that struggled to hit gold or some underground rapper
