Iverson skill set, which relied on speed and quickness, wore out with age. His size, nh, became his own worst enemy. And alcohol became his new best friend. And unlike some like Jordan, with the fadeaway, Iverson failed to add a new dimension to his game which would have allowed him to further career. And what made it worse is that he thought he was still the same player that he was in his 20's. His unwillingness to accept a new role, unwillingness to accept that he was not the player he once was, and his unwillingness to accept sobriety are why he ended up in Bangladesh or wherever it is. This became clear during his traffic stop. Growing up, and all during his time in the league, the popo always knew who iverson was. and that was a bad thing. Now he's begging for cops to recognize him.

Conley improved his game this season, plus A.I isn't a natural PG. Far as D.Fisher, yeah he's done but he can still play a role and hit a clutch when needed. Imagine A.I. on the Lakers he probably be mad because he's not getting enough touches and would hate to run the triangle offense.

him, or any scoring pg/sg combo type player would be bad for the lakers and the triangle. not just iverson. if he was willing to sit back and shoot and make a couple 3's a game, then he could work, but i doubt he'd settle for that. Phil Jackson has had success with Fisher, BJ Armstrong, Ron Harper, etc... that offense needs Fisher more than it needs AI
