I remember I went to a Hip Hop conference at Harvard University back in 1999. KRS One was one of the speakers. After the conference KRS One was supposed to perform.

For some reason KRS One couldn't make it and The Black Eyed Peas performed instead.

Imagine everybody's disappointment, executing KRS One and getting The Black Eyed Peas.

Having said that, they put on a decent show. They tried, but if you've ever seen KRS One perform live you know there's no comparison.
