Cube NEVER watered down his music to appease Whitey till today . .

I used to be a huge fan of 'Ye's music but somewhere along the line he just went off and his crazy desire to want to seemingly be associated with and please White people

And his wearing leather skirts over tight leather pants ?!? SMH

i was a fan of KANYE when he was dropping goodmusic mixtapes when his jaw got cracked, a bigger fan of his production, was a breath of fresh air, College Dropout put the battery in my back for hip-hop, the soulful brother that make hip-hop, that had the backing of the underground/conscious crowd, nigga on DAVE CHAPELLE show, produced the classic BLUEPRINT........brought that feeling to hip-hop again

what in the fuck made you want to be european, and champion those who look down on the people that put you up on their shoulders and champion you........

Kanye is a great artist but he lost himself a long time ago. I think by Malik coming out and saying this will be "black music" he's admitting that a lot of the previous shit has been white music. All the Euro-rap shit has worked wonders for his career no doubt, he's arguably the biggest name in the industry next to Lil Wayne. It was also an interesting concept at the time, he broke new ground with that shit, problem is it alienated a lot of his original fan base. If he's trying to win those people back, he will find it difficult. Crossover artists can never cross back, I hope he understands that. Now that he's shown a willingness to do and success with "white music" there's no way the labels are going to let him go back anyway.

Now that lames having a sun or seems to me he's trying to man up. Trying to have the pic of him in the short taken off the Web, letting go of that euro shit and making a more traditional hop hop album.

More so than his music i just think people been tired of him. I honestly haven't listened to any Kanye album since Graduation and i'm a fan/was a fan. Thing with a person like Kanye is that he constantly gets thrown at our faces just like Jay-Z, for business reasons. I think his move with a known attention whore *insert Kim K or pre-Wiz Amber R) makes his fans even angrier. It's like he's in peoples faces everyday about everything but the music and that is one thing some don't get..people don't wanna see you every second.

We know the deal tho the album won't by different than anything before this is just marketing and about getting people hyped. He'll do an album and whether it's good or bad he'll win 20 awards, perform at every event, be in every magaines and gossip blog, say or do something controversial etc etc, which is tiring.

"Just remember black music, the black experience. It's a throwback to that era,"

INB4 "Wade In The Water" is flipped into a Trap beat with a hint of soul via Strings.

Gil Scott Heron or Public Enemy type vibe?

This cat is hard to read but his solo albums haven't disappointed me yet. I'm buying whatever he's selling until he gives me a reason not to.

I've had this idea in my head for years...

Watch The Throne was produced mostly in Europe and Australia ... with the album art designed by French design house, Givenchy and a whole lotta European music sampling and help from the likes of Michael Dean and Jeff Bhasker . . .

Meanwhile contrast that with another collabo HipHop/Reggae album called Distant Relatives whose content and concept was about the Motherland of which KanYe West has ancestral origins . .

why are you comparing Distant Relatives to WTH? and WTH was also produced in Los Angeles and NY. Nas has used white people to design his album covers and do you even know who Mike Dean and Jeff Bhasker are?

And i didn't know Curtis Mayfield, James BRown, Nina Simon, Quincy Jones, Otis Redding were European
