Just One Example Of Why I Believe Gay Men And Women Are Mentally Ill

I got a family member that Im pretty sure is gay. I feel some type of way about some clown on the internet labeling him as mentally ill just because his sexuality.

Basically everyone has a family member or co-worker that's gay. So what.

It seems that I hit a nerve because some posters here appear to be getting extremely defensive....LOL. I wonder why they believe that gay shit is normal.

Let me repeat my opinion, which is in the title..............

Any man that is attracted to another man.......is mentally ill.

Any woman that is attracted to another woman..........is mentally ill.

You have a point, they might be mentally ill. But whats wrong with being mentally ill?

Some people are claustrophobic, they're mentally ill.

Some people are dyslexic, they're mentally ill.

Some people have amnesia, they're mentally ill.

Being mentally ill isn't the problem. Beating up your grandmother is the problem. Beating up your grandmother is a sign of mental illness but it has nothing to do with being Gay, or transgender.

If a straight person beat up his grandmother we'd all agree that he's mentally ill, so it has nothing to do with being Gay.

Your premise is rejected.

Some gay people have amnesia and forgot they were straight... they have a dual diagnosis...

I always said it was mental illness. Nature intends for men and women to procreate. That's all the evidence you need. Not worth an argument or long winded discussion though.

Sexual orientation is NATURAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL/EMOTIONAL AND CULTURAL.

You were born with one of the two genital parts. Thats NATURE.

You are attracted to an ADULT person of the same sex: that YOUR EMOTIONS/ PSYCHE

Some society are not accepting that AND SOME ARE: THATS CULTURE.

Human beings navigate between nature , culture and their own peception of themselves.

When culture dominates, nature and self perception are secondary. Nowdays we are geting more libertarian and self oriented. Hence the raising number of BI-SEXUAL people and transgender ones.

Sexuality is the elaboration of your nurture on your nature....

Biology provides us with the tools to have sexual feelings and our environment shapes how we display these feelings...it’s just that complex...everybody isn’t born with the same nature and or body or chemical balance or lack there of....it is not as “mental”/biological as people make it seem.....and everybody doesn’t respond the same to environmental factors with the same chemical balance...there’s no formula or check list...if you can find out what exactly shapes our sexuality then you found god
