Pau Gasol is not a role player, I believe he lead the Memphis Grizzlies to the playoffs three years in a row, in the west as THE man on that team.
His career averages are 19 PPG 9 RPG 3.2APG and 1.7BPG.....those are near hall of fame numbers, and role players don't make the hall of fame.
