and Lmao at you guys not realizing that Lebron and Bosh were traded for.

god..plz stop posting...they were not traded for ...they were free agents....and their former respective teams along with their new team decided on a sign and trade deal which gives the heat more money to sign other players......the players them selves more loot..and their former team something back and not just lose the players out right....the sign and trade was an agreement...it never had to be part of them going to miami...

were they traded for or not? I thought so. They might have forced the owners hand, but Charles Barkley did that when he demanded a trade form the 76ers and so did Jabbar when he demanded a trade from Milwaukee.

ur just a idiot sorry..i try not call anyone names..but you're just a f idiot..they are known by the media, basketball ppl and fan as free agents, they where adressed as that..."the sign n trade" deal is the business part of it that had no barring on what they where recognized as...

ghost is right. You get traded to a team because your team decides they want to get rid of you and get someone else. When a player has control over where he goes (like Lebron and Bosh did since they're free agents), it's not REALLY a trade. Bosh and Lebron basically said "I'm leaving and goin to Miami...do what you gotta do." Players don't do that in trades

Although Abdul-Jabbar always spoke well of Milwaukee and its fans, he said that being in the Midwest did not fit his cultural needs and requested a trade to either New York or Los Angeles in October 1974.

you niggas need to learn the history of the game

and he was on that LA team alone. that was after J.West retired before magic and worthy was drafted. Actually that LA team finished last in the division his first season in LA.So don't bring up half-assed facts.

and Kareem had already won a ring in Milwaukee though. Plus he was already the MVP a few times. Not to mention he was on the Lakers first, so wouldn't that mean it was his team and not Magic's?

and his first season with the Lakers was 75-76 he won the MVP that year. In the 76-77 season, before Magic even got there, they went 53-29 and made it to Conference finals.
