Jordan was not in the same situation. Free agency wasn't like it is now back then. He never had the opportunity to leave so for him to say "i would have never left" is silly to me. Nigga you don't know that. You can say that now after he has retired with 6 rings but at that time when he was hungry and ringless, had he been presented with an opportunity to team with say barkley and hakeem who knows what he would have done. His circumstances were different.

When people say stupid stuff like "Oh Magic would have never done this or Bird would have never done this" I just laugh. Them niggas played with STACKED rosters with 3 or more hall of famers. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird were never asked to go out and score 30 to 40 points a night during the playoffs for their team to win. Never.

People like to compare players to Jordan but that shit is stupid too. Jordan is anomaly. He isn't the norm. A once in a life time player. When you look at other great players besides jordan they had a TON of help to get rings. And even Jordan played with at least one other hall of famer. So this whole notion that Lebron should have stuck it out in Cleveland to be like Jordan is a bunch of bull shit. Be like Jordan? More like be like Iverson.

jordan did have a chance to leave in 87' when he signed with the bulls in 84' he signed a three year deal then re-uped for another 8 in 87' after get ousted in the playoffs by boston i think.

and they did play with HOF's but they were all drafted not one of them signed to the team as a free agent b/c they didnt get the job done elsewhere and none of thier teammates were regarded as being the best in the L or top 3 in the L.
