Another thing is that Hip Hop fans are real hypocrital at times.
Example: A Jay-z fan from the East coast still gotta give Young Jeezy props for his first album because it is a classic..or damn near one in my eyes.
But nah, you have fans here in New York that know they were loving Jeezy's first album but be saying the "South is wack"
The same dudes that had "And Then What" bumpin hard in the whip.

Rap/Hip-Hop is the only genre that uses the terms fell off, don't nobody listen to _______ no more, etc. etc

This right here, and you can close the thread. This is the only genre where being over 30 is considered old and out of touch. It's the only genre where Legends are torn down, instead of revered. Hip hop has some of the most immature fans of any genre. I think some of it has to do with hip hops relative freshness in the musical world. But a large part also has to do with the dumb ass attitudes most fans seem to have.

Yeah man, thats why I put "classic in my eyes" ..I just feel he changed the game with it.

I live in New York and when Jeezy dropped that.....I witnessed how many dudes in this state copped that CD but years later still won't give him props, i'm just saying thats fucked up.

Our fans are quick to embrace artist but are even quicker to drop them like bad habits.

You see, Jeezy wasnt trying to be lyrical though..thats what some fans of Hip Hop don't get about rappers. He was just rapping about his lifestyle with hunger..most 1st albums are like that (50 cent GRODT). You can't blame a dude for that, It is up to all artist to show progression after their 1st album though.

hip hop fans dont respect legends in the game.Even if you dont like their music you can still respect how they were pioneers and changed the game but most hip op fans dont do that.

I see this with the younger generation, that 20, 21 & under age range....

classic is an album that should be put in the hip hop vault and when we open the vault 35 years from now we will be proud.
TM 101 is not that

it is a BANGER,a regional smash, real nigga music, real dope boy music,,,,,,banger

but a classic,
dont disrespect Paid in Full,Return of the Boom Bap, He's the DJ Im The Rapper,Enter the 36 Chambers and many more by puttin that piece of trunk music in the same class as them

joe buddens is a short sited ass dude on some "oh wow i finally discovered something" shit.

hip hop was created on competition. it is the only genre (that i know of) in which the actual artists tear each other down in order to look good. they wanna be charismatic niggas then when they get dick riders joe buddens wanna say basically fuck these fans, they dumb. rapper niggaz wanna create "movements" when they know only a bunch of dumb niggaz with no guidance really gonna follow some rapper anyway. they wanna dis rapper X so that their "fans" can side with them against rapper X, while rapper X's fans wanna do the same back. this is the bullshit that they created and after years of perfecting the formula this is the bullshit that sales. so don't get mad now that you've grown up and realize the bullshit for what it is. Of course when we grow up, have families we don't wanna be pushing half the shit rappers being saying in our kids ears. So eventually we grow out of the music. So your average "hip hop" fan is young.

hip hop is like 2 player hating ass niggas with no money fighting over a broad they think got money.

TRUE OR FALSE

a large part of the audience is very im im i'd go as far as to say very ignorant. like i could put a whole list of adjectives that could be applied to our audience and our audience only. and it would be difficult to argue........

replace "audience" with "artists"

a large part of the artists is very im im i'd go as far as to say very ignorant. like i could put a whole list of adjectives that could be applied to our artists and our artists only. and it would be difficult to argue......

1st off Joe Budden is protecting his boss

2nd niggas do fall off

3rd how many other genres have artists signing to other artists and stopping them from putting out music

4th what other genre has the artists and labels devalued the music

Jimi Hendrix and Eminem are not a good comparsion . Blacks created Rock music and Jimi Hendrix changed the

game at the time with his style of play. What has Eminem done to change the game? On another note some

Rock fans shit on artists they don't like ,say the current state of the music suck and only listen to old shit. Once a

rock band switch or go commercial they don't fuck with them no more (ie Fall Out Boy). Paramore and King of

Leon get shitted on all the time. So what is we talking about really.

he's dead wrong

hip hop fans stay winnin cause we care the most about how much money an artist got and how many bitches they got and shit and whatnot

Come on man...I know it wasn't 50's first album...but it was his first "I'm officially in the game" album, the shit that broke him in...come on man, casual listeners don't know about his 1st album so they consider it GRODT..

Thug M 101 wasn't Jeezys first album either but casual fans say that it is..I didn't want to be technical.
