I gave up on the sitcom like 5 eps into the 1st season.

His stand up is a acquired taste. Its borderline trolling at times. While his show is completely different. Its balanced. Its different pov of different types of blk ppl. The pops n the brothers x wife are the funniest imo.

Just comparing the 2 for obvious reasons. Both new tv shows about black families and deal with black issues.
His show is shot in a old school form with laugh track.
Blackish is the evolved version of a sitcom and i find it way more watchable and funny

I have only seen a couple eps. But in the few i saw i could tell it wasnt for me. Couple laughs yea, but its too corny n preachy imo. Tho the trump election reaction ep was goat.

I thought this special was good, just like the first one. I can see how someone would say he's to dry for them.
