Or is that an invalid source becuz niggaz can't stand the fact that they're wrong? I also remember when those albums all came out or did my eyes and ears decieve me at the time?

I guess we can't include Nelly Furtado either huh?

Bitch sold bonkers amount of records but I guess that means nothing compared to JD, who was also Son'd by Timbaland?

Or are we going to act like those albums haven't all sold more since then?

Especially MCHG, your numbers are from the first week of September. We're now 8 months into it. U mean to tell me that Jay stopped selling since September 5th? U mean to tell me "Miss E So Addictive" stopped selling before they dropped the Remix for "Get Your Freak On"?

I'm not saying "Confessions" stopped selling either but you're talking about 4 hugely impactful albums, 3 of which were international sensations. Not adding up to the sale of One album. That's crazy.

Jay is still selling that album. Ain't nobody buying "Confessions" today. They bootleggin that

And Confessions was A bigger international sensation than all 4..So if those albums are still selling..then how the fuck do you figure nobody's buying confessions anymore? lol or it didn't sell A few more

Million after the stopping count?..

That's a big assumption when u say Millions - especially in this digital era.

Its not a big assumption to say those albums altogether sold between 500k - 1million more.

I also never said "Confessions" stopped selling at last count. But that album is old and ain't nobody buying that today. People are still purchasing FSLS and MCHG.

Lets be consistent and realistic

Ok Let's Be Realistic..FSLS is almost 8 years old..That's just as Old as Confessions..and.MCHG might still be moving a few records here and there..but it's stalling..selling A few thousand records a week..It aint touching anothr 500k to A million no time soon bruh..

And also 2.5 + 5.2 = 7.7

Then 10 + 2

19.7

Thats still less u moron. And its u that started with the numbers and the wrong numbers.

You will try anyway to squeeze a win but you cant because ur incorrect.

U crackin jokes and playin dumb but u can't eem count

And we assume this why?

I don't discredit JD but he's not and never has been the shit and nobody ever liked that nigga regardless of what Coast they were from.

Nigga said Katy Perry's record sounds like "Lean Wit it rock Wit It" and that this record was basically jocked from his Style becuz of the 808s and Snaps. He didn't even Produce a single song on that record.

JD didn't blow the Snap Sound up, D4L did then Jon and then Dem FranchIse Boyz came In (at the same tIme) and put theIr record out - becuz The South's secret weapon was unIty. JD didn't invent the 808 sound we know of today and yesterday, DJ Paul & Juicy J did. And they were influenced by DJ Squeeky and I think DJ Zirk as well. And they were also inspired by The Geto Boys.

And none of the artists I just mentioned had any ties or connects to JD, not even Lil Jon really (tho I imagine they were cool).

Also he said Lil Wayne took the So So Def motto of Young talent and made Young Money. When everybody has already acknowledged at any point in Hip Hop its been a young man's game, even tho literally the past few years have been a different situation. And not only that, most of the artists on Young Money aren't even that young except for Lil Twist and most of the signees aren't that young either. Drake is 27 going on 28 and Nicki is 30-30something and Wayne is 34. We're not even talking about Birdman.

But to your point I think its silly trying to hold one album so high in regard that u try to rewrite history and act as if those albums still aren't that popular today with the exception of Missy (not including "Get Your Freak On")

You're also dismissing Nelly Furtado who sold 12 million who's album was mostly produced by Timbaland (and Danja Hands).

JD doesn't have that type of respect like a Neptunes or a Dr. Dre becuz he took the cheap and easy way out, not only that but he was biting trends too.

Nigga also said he infused Hip Hop with R&B first. When in reality Heavy D/Andre Harrell, Diddy, & Dr. Dre were all doing it before him.

Andre Harrell had Heavy D

Diddy had Jodeci & Mary J

Dr. Dre had Jewell, Michel'le, JJ Fad, & even fucked with Jimmy Z's wild ass

JD wants a particular type of respect that he didn't earn. His sales contradict his actions if we're talkin this Hip Hop shit.

Niggas hating on jd

Not at all, I'm just telling it like it is. People didn't really like JD, niggaz hated that nigga foreal. But that doesn't mean he wasn't apart of some very successful projects. See what I did there.

I'm very very familiar with the artists I mention. Otherwise id never mention them at all

Who didn't experience what? Name names

Everyone is entitled to their opinion - that's cool. Your argument that JD ain't shit is a hipsters reach.

This thread is the only time in my 25 years on this Earth - 15 of which delving deep into this game (with the Internet at my disposal) - is the only time I've ever seen niggaz cape for JD. Nobody was ever fuckin with that nigga, period.

You claim you're 25 which means you were born 1989

JD's rise began during the mid to late 90's

during this time you would have been what 5-10yrs old?

you're REALLY trying to convince anyone that you were out buying tapes, attending concerts, collecting rap magazines, memorizing verses, recording every underground hip hop show off the radio while you were working PT and doing homework?

i'm glad I actually lived through all those music moments and not having to re-live it through video and text.
