Damn!!! So do that mean I gotta take the chains outta my avi or pay up??? Let me hit my lawyer just in case...

If he ain't got a written contract that's all word of mouth. They might throw him a few bucks just to shut him up though.

wonder how much he willing to sell it for

so can nigga rock they Roc chains?

Is there a word for this? When niggas say/write shit wrong because of how they've heard people say something? Or is it just called ignorance? I see this a lot online... Like I've seen someone type "I'm feeling for a seizure salad" and "My aunt has die of beetees" before. Always found it funny.

Its called bad grammar. Also, some people can't read/write. They just can't. That doesn't mean their ignorant though. Some people can pop the hood on a car and the engine makes perfect sense to them but they don't understand how the English language is structured. Some people can read music and sit behind a piano and play Beethoven but they can't read or write English. A lot of police officers are like that, they know and understand the law but they can't read or write. In fact, its not just police officers, there's a lot of people that are functionally illiterate; They can fill out a form like what you would need to fill out a form to get a driver's license or a job application but they can't write an essay if you paid them $1,000,000

It's not even about producing trademark documents, if he can't provide written/signed consent that Shawn Carter, Dame Dash and Kareem Burke said he was entitled to those numbers he has no case and no ground. This is only a big deal because we learned that Jay-Z doesn't own his original "Roc-A-Fella" logo.

For crying out loud I doubt this cat even has the money to go back n forth in a court of law.

He doesn't have the money to go back and forth with Jay but if he sues for $20 million and Jay settles out of court for, say, $1 million then he wins.

Something doesn't have to be copywrited in writing for it to be legal or deemed ownership. It's actually copywrited when it's known or identified to someone or something. If Dame and Jay can show the logo was associated with them before dude copywrited it then they'll win.

[A man who claims he trademarked the “Brooklyn Nets” name over 10 years ago is suing Jay-Z for $600 Million] Then why don't he sue the team ? Makes you wonder.

It could be considered a verbal contract.

Verbal contract are damn near impossible to prove unless other witnesses are there
