Cute...

But, we do ourselves a disservice when we dont accentuate and cater to our differences accordingly

Shit, most of our "progresses" came from.doing jus that......think about it....social, arts, etc...even communal...we built foundations and world changing off of building on our differences

But his bosses and his bosses peers know hes and his peers different...and maintsin their world partly due to those differences

That "we are the same" shit goes right out the window come sports draft time....or searching for new musical ideas to exploit etc

But u dont get real shit from tv , so ill leave it at "cute"

And side note, i hate this historical tunnel vision america has wit blk ppl. And we allow that shit. Blues artists jazz etc were "integrating clubs" decades upon decades ago. And leaving out the back door. This hip hop shit is a rerun....not a polarizing change for the personality of america

Imagine if all the nationalities in the world came together as one putting together the greatest minds how advance human civilization would be today.

I agree with everything he said but he's talking about a small amount of people who like the same thing. People that like that same shit generally get along while partaking in the same shit. Wgaf. Didn't really speak to any real issue. Just stated some obvious shit.

Fuck this coon ass nigga.

Shit, niggaz might as well sit around debating Rush-fucking-Limbaugh's take on racial harmony.

It's not as cut and paste as he puts it, obviously we have some work to do. But we as a people always created something that eased the social tensions and brought people together, and hip hop was the best outlet thus far. Now if we can only figure out a way to maintain it.

not an excuse for white prejudices in the legal system and corporate world but niggas hate on niggas for making something of themselves all the time. We clapping other niggas on a daily basis in our own hoods (again i must stress this is no excuse for these white folk to do what they have been doing). Crime is down but niggas still killing niggas over some stupid shit.

White people be rioting after sports games in college football and pros and niggas was rioting in ferguson taking advantage of the situation. Macklemore comes through and while his bars was weak he respects the game but niggas just hate on him for no reason. Same shit happened to black athletes back in the day during the integration of white sports.

There are good white people and there is white trash. There are good black people and there are some stupid ass niggas. The police department ain't any more corrupt than the gangs and some (not all) of the civil rights groups that claim they are about a cause.

Disagree Hiphop has made a small impact but.. It doesnt birth and foster understanding and acceptance to a large degree.

It has forged alot of frivolous relationships on the party and bullshit level more so than any true cometogetherness

I cant believe jiggas said that Snoop Dog shit with a straight face either.

He is also talking as a businessman... He has been positioning himself to be put here for years i seen how he moved towards the unmelanated circles so he can make bigger moves and be seen other than a rapper.. Which he has and more power to him on that front. But i just dont agree. People just dont care as much as they might have back when we have become just as oblivious and non caring about US and our history and our present as OTHERS.

So when is he going to discuss accountability in law enforcement?

Thats why he is a coon, cause he'd rather focus on the issue of race instead of the issue at hand.

Fucking puppet...

That nogga name lamb chops now....

Somebody working his mouth thru rectal access...

race doesnt play a part in the issue at hand?

"We're more alike than we're DIFFERENT" This ignoramus couldn't even get that basic concept right.

Thank God the video was only 2 minutes long.

jay has been saying this shit for years. he's not wrong as for saying hip hop has brought people from all backgrounds together. its true. go to the average hip hop concert and there's an noticeable portion of non blacks in the crowd. im not even talking about mainstream acts. public enemy, wu tang, mos def, talib, etc.

there's nothing wrong with that

but when hip hop becomes "white hot" and the media tries to paint em, iggy, and macklemolre as the faces of a black genre, thats when it becomes an issue
