These threads are not really fair to banks or posters really. banks should be being compared to niggas like kiss, fab or even buck. Why niggas comparing banks to legends, I still bump banks shit. But to try to put him on Jay-z level come on bruh. I dont think niggas fully comprehend the chokehold that jay had on the industry in his prime and I dont wanna hear all that "banks is lyrical" shit, cause jay basically came in w that n was even thought of as being " too lyrical" early on and had to tone it down . So my question to the thread starter is simple...besides punchlines what catergory is banks better at then jay?

Lol...my nigga there is a big difference between a hot 16 or 30 bars over someone elses beat and putting together and releasing multiple albums and if you dont get that then I dont know what to tell. By the way jay got a classic mixtape himself with that "carter" joint. So jay has actually done what banks is supposedly best at.

I enjoy listening to Hunger For More, Rotten Apple, Hunger For More 2 and Beg For Mercy more than any Jay Z album

Jay Z just doesn't make any songs i have enjoyed, related to or that have replay value to me. His music has zero appeal to me i just can't digg even some songs

But as i said on a straight up rapping tip no 1 is touching Jay Z as far as bars, flow and complexity
