Of course he uses subliminals, all rappers do, but my point is that Jay has been known to name names. Drake hasn't. Most rappers these days don't really diss each other in their raps like that. They just talk about each other on twitter, in interviews, and make ambiguous references in songs. There can be no doubt about this.

I mean even Kendrick didn't specifically say Drake's name in the BET cypher.

And for the record, I'm not even a big Jay-Z fan. He's far from my favorite rapper. I show respect where respect is due though. Rap game needs real competition. I tip my hat when I see it. Plain and simple.

If you ask me, most rappers these days is easy targets. But at the same time, Drake is culturally relevant and said his name in a high-profile magazine. Most rappers wouldn't respond directly in a rap. I give respect where respect is due.

It's one thing to ignore MC Local Outer Space, its another to ignore literally everybody else in the game.
