Nah I don't think it was that many of us in here...the few of us that were here were just anticipating something nice and wanted to hear it so we waited around :( like thirst buckets.

I'm not saying I don't think he's any good, cuz I do. Just wondering if he hadn't put out a song in a while or something?

The thing that's disappointing about this is the way he lets it build up. Just throw these joints on a mixtape and shit man.

You can't be fuccin serious.

It sounds like dude is seriously just talking on the tracc. No flow. No rhythm. No nothing. Sound like a bunch of fuccin zombies spittin.

These niggas got access to million dollar studios and this is what they come up with?

Word is bond I know a few niggas with $30 booths that make better traccs.

Funniest part is when he says, "play this on the radio." Nigga must want vehicle fatalities to go up from niggas fallin asleep behind the wheel when this shit plays.

this production is super duper wackjuice.

Once again, the Dope Rush does it better than 90% of your favorite rappers.

This song makes me wanna strip naked, burst out of my window, free fall 28 floors, faceplant in the snow, make a snow angel mixed with my own blood, shiver from the cold, get hypothermia, DIE, go the pearly gate, say wuzzup to Jesus, do our secret hand shake, look for Buddha, find him, have him reincarnate me into a frog, meet a princess, kiss her, turn into a prince, order my subjects to bring me a computer, listen to this song again, cry myself to sleep. Wake up.. Repeat

Fuck J.Cole

get a grip my boy shit ain't that hot

after a few more listens today i think this is not up to the other jay e material but its still pretty good. But like i warned jay e fans in other threads i doubt his ablity to keep spitting at that exhibit c level consistently. Dude can make some gems but he has never proved to be able to have 4 or 5 tracks at the same time all be fire.

It's interesting you mention the bolded...

"We did that song in 15 minutes," Jay boasted. The track came about when Jay and Just Blaze were scheduled to be on Angela Yee's Sirius Satellite radio show and wanted to make a new record to play on the program.

"We never went on the show," Jay explained. "We fell asleep in the studio. I forgot the song existed. I didn't hear it again until I heard it on Tony Touch's [satellite radio show]. I was mad. Even when he played it on the show, he said, 'I'm gonna get in trouble for doing that.' The next day [the song] was all over the Net and people were asking for the CD-quality version. It grew legs on its own. It's amazing to see. It grew its own legs. To see it walk all the way to mainstream commercial radio is a helluva magic trick. It's almost like it's an entity of its own."

...and Exhibit C is one of my favorite Hip-Hop songs of the past few years.

JAy E could have made a damn near classic album with some of the joints he put out on previous mixtapes....
he shoulda dropped one mixtape, then dropped an album......he has just dug himself into a hole now, cus expectations of his album are so high now that even if he drops the dopest album niggas still gonna be dissapointed cus everyone is expecting something stellar....i hope he proves me wrong though

So is this gonna be on the album, or was this just a track that he decided to put out there?
and this isn’t even a single.

or even a song from my album.

its just a dope ass beat, with some (extra) dope rhymes from me and 2 of My favorite hip hop artists of all time, who woke up yesterday not even knowing they’d be on a record with me a few hours later.

So nobody's going to mention the subliminal at Diddy? "Take that nigga"

Till you mentioned, I didn't notice it. But yeah it does sound like a subliminal.....Jay Elect learning from Jay-Z about those tricks!

I don't know...this didn't sound inspired like most of Jay's tracks. Mobb didn't really contribute anything significant, it was alright but nothing great. Seems like this track was just put out there for the sake of it just because it was a collab with P and Havoc. Solid, but definitely weaker than what I expect from Electrolysis.

I'm still waiting for whatever he drops next.

True............

only listenend once, but to me this song sounds like someone who has crossed over from underground to a record label....shit sounds a lot less inspiring than his other tracks....
kinda like how j.cole went softer than the bottom of a babies foot....but just not as extreme.

This was one of my biggest fears with Jay getting signed up. How will his music change from lack of creativity due to label interference and lack of inspiration from him due to security and "making it"

"niggas know the Sunshine Eternal/ I burn slow like Disco Inferno/ burn slow like blunts with yayo"-Jay Electronica, Call of Duty.

Another trick Jay-Z taught him lol

it doesn't help that he made yall wait all night, but the song is still good. Jay E and Mobb Deep sound good together and the beat fits their style. I got no problem with the beat. Really good to hear Mobb Deep at it again
