Uh, looking back, this song wasn't that good at all. And back then I was definitely cheering for the Interscope machine so I'm certainly not being biased.

1. You got Eminem, a white shock rapper signed to Dr. Dre's label of all places, trying to tell us who Pac would and would not have associated with. Anyone with a brain knows that Pac would have dissed the fuck out of Eminem the moment he saw him. And Em was Dre's artist. "Pac was still alive he would never ride with Ja"? No Em, if Pac was still alive you wouldn't have a career because he would've drug your ass through the mud. The 90's = rap was much more than just rap music. Niggas got stomped out. Niggas died.

2. What's worse than a white shock rapper signed to Dre? A black rapper signed to a white rapper signed to Dre. And then he's interpolating a 2Pac verse? C'mon son.

Busta was the only true spotlight on this song because up until then, he had always been the animated fun-loving guy that nobody would even consider dissing. That's why I resent this song... Busta was never the same after Hail Mary 2001.

lol @ Eminem not rocking du-rags anymore once Ja Rule shitted on him.....

"Loose Change" is without a doubt underrated...

Shit is hilarious, a white boy wearing a Du-rag is like seeing a Muslim wearing a yarmulke or a Nazi wearing a Kufi...

...but then again Emenim wears panty-hose and hi-heels in his Vids so the insanity is the norm I guess.

I remember when he tied his du-rag on too tight and wanted to shoot the fair with Benzino....what happened? Dude had his manager call Benzino to peace it out....Eminem's phony threats are comic relief, I don't know if its the drugs or what??? Didn't he say he wanted to go to war with Suge because of the slick shit he be saying about Dre? Come on, Marshall....when shit got too real, the dude hired ex-CIA for around the clock protection thinking somebody was gonna assassinate his silly ass...LMAOOOO!!!!!

Violator had also managed Ja Rule previously. What are you saying?

And nice cover up, but unless Ja actually said that he mispelled Murder on purpose, I'm saying he fucked up.

^^^

This is the reason I made this thread. Ja Rule haters can't deny how much of an impact the Hallie line was, so instead of arguing against it, they say it's the only good line in an otherwise trash song. Not so.

Yeah I know Ja went at Busta for the same reason, Busta had worked with Dre who was with 50...it was when Ja started dissing because dudes were associated with 50...Violator, Busta, Em, Dre, D12...all got caught because of there association with 50 or with some associated with 50...and Ja didn't say he misspelled it wrong, but Irv said he spelled it wrong on purpose, that he spelled it right the first time and Irv told him to go change it because he knew the Fed's were comin' eventually anyway...and I do agree it's an underrated diss...a great first shot in the battle

The double meaning of the pumps and the du rag line were good disses. That last line though, it really didnt matter if that was the only hard punchlines it only takes one good punch KO and win a fight even if you been dancing and riding the ropes the whole bout-in this case the whole song. That last line messed Em up for a long time, and everyone knows it. LOL @ stans talking about Hail Mary and Do Ra Me where Em recruited a team to fight his battle. When Ja went at Em, 50 and Dre dolo.

Um....

Ja had Murder Inc goin at Aftermath in the booth and streets, he had some of DeathRow in on it and even recruited one of Pacs' Outlawz to get at Fif (the best of em, Hussien Fatal). So what are you talking about Ja went at them dolo?

Ja still cool in my eyes.....fif ain't.
