One criticism of Cole: dude is from the South and his beats dont bang....at all. Idk what 808s he uses but dude be failing the whip test everytime

I think that's what stopping him from fully reaching his full potential like Kendrick and Drake has, he hasn't masted the club record yet. Most the people who say they don't fuck with his music is because his music doesn't bang like that.

Niggas were surprised how tough he was when they got to see him at homecoming

I think he will get it right with this album. My issue has always been the production he chooses (hit or miss), but seeing how he reached out to other producers this time around he should be good.

He's killed damn every feature he has had this year too.

Black Grammy's

My nigga just made bail

Lit

Knock the hustle remix

Coles production is his stongest point to me

You a fucking lie lol

everyone knows cole's hooks are where he shines. I love when he sings those emotional hooks like he was eminem, people say he can't sing but they just don't recognize emotion.

lolololol

he be having a few here and there, but it aint just that his beats dont "bang" its his beats period, musically they just sub par imo, i fool with in the morning, power trip, and you got it heavily tho and i wouldnt call them beats that bang, they just nice melodically

I meant bang in the literal sense. We are in the turnup era, i was listening to gkmc and born sinner in my car and sonically theres a huge difference ao i can understand why people say his beats are his weak point

I'll check this when it drops. He's got some dope rhymes, but like some others have stated, his production is weak. Happy this album will be handled by other producers. I went to school up in NC...them niggas love that nigga up there

Didn't even buy Born Sinner because I was so underwhelmed with The Sideline Story due to his production. I love all his mixtapes though and now that he is recruiting some others to help with the music I will give this one a shot.

I'm rooting for this album to be great because he is a solid emcee not to far from home.

I always like the artists i listen to to be totally involved intheir music. Have a lot of repect for those artists out there who do it all. Production, composing, and lyrics.

Thats why some my favorite artists are Warren G, Big Krit, Jcole, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Phil Collins... people who when u hear the music... its all them

From the root to the fruit

I respect and enjoy that

Friends and Family,

What's good? This is Cole. I just bought my old crib back. This is the house I started rapping in at 13 years old. 2014 Forest Hills Drive. As a kid, moving into this place changed my life in so many ways. Too many to type. Unfortunately, the house was foreclosed from my mother when I was 18 and I always dreamed of buying it back one day for closure. It's the first house I have ever owned.

My new album is called 2014 Forest Hills Drive. I'm not dropping any singles. I want you to hear the album straight through, front to back. The only way to hear the album before it's release is to enter for your chance to be invited to my house, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Fayetteville, North Carolina 28303. There are very limited spots. Good luck.

And please take your shoes off before you walk in my crib!!!

- Cole

Enter your info here for a chance to win a spot at 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Please note, winners must provide their own transportation to and from Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Shiiiitt! nigga i only live bout 45 minutes away!!!!

Wet Dreamz????? So he is putting old songs on this project again. smh

From listening to the album snippets this is what i take away.

1. There doesn't sound like there is any Timbaland, Mustard, Pharrell, or Hit-Boy production.

2. Most of the beats sound like his or producers similar to his style.

3. This album is more in the lines of The Warm up

4. Doesn't sound like there is a hit record record on it. Maybe a Tale of two cities.

5. It sounds easily better than Sideline Story and Born Sinner.
