J.Cole "Work Out" single. Is it a flop? (Real discussion)

The song grew on me a little.

Still its an underwhelming single and blatantly cynical attempt at radio spins.

I've been saying this since day 1 - HE SHOULD HAVE SAVED DREAMS OR LADIES FOR HIS 1st SINGLE

People will hear and like it. If O'let's do it was like 20 something on the charts than people should like this. Look up J.cole on youtube and see that nigga's views. Thid nigga's stans are there and he is a underground rapper. I thought black&yellow was trash but look what happened. People wll hear it then buy it off itunes or something I bet you reaches atleats in the 40's. Nigga on tour with rihanna and signed to Hov nigga's is gone buy just beacuse that.

You have more faith than me my friend because I am a fan of the guys music and as soon as I heard this I thought it was a failure. It's been out for a little while and people know about the song. I think it has already peaked and it's gonna die out. He disappointed the die hard so called underground fan base with the song and the people who don't know or didn't like him in the first place just thinks the song is corny. I hope you are right about it maybe picking up steam because I want the guys album to do well

J Cole got signed by the Roc Nation (parent company is Sony) to compete with Drake signed to Young Money (parent company is Universal)

they the same Ni99a. mix tape light skin dude they know they women will think is handsome with digestable smooth Rap with R&B tendecies that moms in the suburbs wont mind that they kids listen too.

SERIOUSLY J Cole is taking the hook off a Paula Abdul Song. STRAIGHT UP and repackaging it! are you serious???

J cole will work out because the ROC is backing him and they will give it a push with at least 3 singles off the album until something works and he gets a hit!

if you got his ear please tell him

1. dont ever, ever, ever, ever sample, name drop, or resing a PAULA ABDUL song from if he wants to be taken seriously

2. dont try to be DRAKE 2.0 be yourself

3. Get your boss JAY-Z on a track with the opening verse and release as a single to get some shine on you! people will listen if Jigga is on it and then you can take it from there!

4. put on a good show! Usher came out in around 1994-95 and his first album BOMBED however he could perform and he had the young girls going and hooked to him because he could put on a hell of a concert. do shows of 3,000 to 5,000 people and make it good and it will give him him time to work out his style and sell it to the public!

never heard of it. i havent been on the internet much this summer though, so thats probably why.

You ain't missing nothing. Its a wack track with an awful use of a PAULA ABDUL sample. Sad thing is Cole had to jump through hoops just to get the sample cleared. I'm sure you already know this but.....

J Cole Lost.
