Cole doesn't support the fraud rap agenda, so why would he join with MMG?

lol @ people acting like MMG is the go-to label right now, when their first album flopped hard.

Wale before Flopbach (Attention Deficit) >>>> Wale after sellin his soul to the fraud rap agenda.

Dem MMG niggas be workin, constanly doin shows. They got about 1000 music videos on YouTube alot of em I never ever even seen or heard before. Wtf does Jay have goin on that has higher priority than Cole?

Its not the Nets, he's not as high ranking in the organization as he makes himself out to be.

That watch the throne isnt making any real progress, Will Smith daughter the priority at RocNation? Like wtf is really goin on tho.

Maybe he shoulda just signed straight up with DefJam. Krit got a dope single out and his album will prolly drop first. Ace Hood is my nigga, but he not dope as Cole and has been dropping albums at a more consistent rate than any of these young rappers. He bout to drop his 3rd album, he's on DefJam.

Actually krit and cole are droppin their albums the same day. September 27th

Wale was bigger without Maybach IMO. Nigga shoulda been paitent. But do anybody else on that label even gotta release date for anything?

How can MMG help him in ways that RocNation can't? Can someone give me a legit argument on this one?

just look at what Ross has done for his team with the little time they've had together. Compare that to what Jay has done for J Cole in the last 2 years....

T/S saying that MMG can help him with his direction and creativity... and pick a better single than "Work Out"

For one J.Cole doesn't want Jay Z's help. Secondly what exactly has ross done for his team? Got them on Bet? lol Lastly it's not at all Jay's fault for J.Cole's position. J. Cole has stated over and over that he wants to be his own man. What part of that don't you dudes understand?

But J.Cole wants to be his own man and do things his way. That sounds like trynna make a nigga fit the mold of the label and not letting him do his own thing

and that's the thing.. if he's under Kanye, Cole gon look like a "College Graduated kanye" that's basically the only difference, Kanye does it better cause he knows

how to utilize that lane to an major appeal and he expanded from there.

one of the MAJOR MAJOR example of this is J. Cole's Single...... "Work out"

Kanye's what... third single from the CD was "Kanye's Workout plan"..

this nigga used that sample and just made a crappy song...

J. Cole has his lane... he just needs to utilize to his advantage.. because he has that mainstream appeal going on.

and a great debut album.... dudes shouldn't be thinking his going to drop a classic duet like Nas did...

how many rappers you know in this time of day dropping debut classics like Nas...

Well that's one of the problems I have with J Cole. It seems like he thinks anything less than a classic album would be a dissappointment.....that's not the case. I wish they'd just put this guys album out and let the PEOPLE decide whether its classic or not. I'm sure when Nas recorded Illmatic he wasn't TRYING to make a classic, that's the part I don't think Cole gets. There is no formula for making a classic album, it just happens. He doesn't need a classic, he just needs an album, if he is as talented as he proclaims he should just go in and let it happen. That's why MMG would be good for him because it really seems like a lot classic tracks they have come from just smoking and bullshitting in the studio until something happens. MMG music never sounds FORCED.

What if he just wants to drop the best possible album he can? Everyday it seems like niggas just want the album and forgetting about the quality.
