But Nas has went platinum multiple times and solidified his place in hip hop (i shoulda clarified and said at the beginning of their careers nas, talib, common and mos were trying to sell). Cole hasn't.

And we really don't know if Nas knows what he could do to move units real quick. its easy to speculate from the sidelines.
