That my girls are more aware than I was at their ages and that they have a good understanding of the mind.

How I impact the lives of others.

The school system, it's garbage. Teachin kids what to think not how to think, seeing how much shit they can cram into the mental hard drive.

The amount of brainwashing/mental fuckery happening on planet earth right now.

I'm worried about things people focus on. Especially people feeding into things like; murder, rape, torture, molestation, vengeance, spitefulness etc.

My strongest passion is understanding the mind and energy manipulation.

I give back the community by practicing being a good human being.

Great Thread and topic @MsSouthern . I will have to respond on a laptop though. I loathe typing lengthy comments on mobile. I got you though.

look, i don't believe in equality between men and women, i just don't. This does not mean one gender is superior to the other it just means we are different because our brains and hormones function differently and THE roles we are inclined to play are different.

I AM However sincere in my desire to see all women treated with the respect they DESERVE. My passion is making money and leaving my children a strong foundation so that one day hopefully they or my grandchildren can make it into the 1 % and hopefully they take my principles with them when they get there.

pretty much my passions are RELIGION,family and money

Might get Ebola from agreeing with this guy but great post @zzombie

My Legacy, coming to the world, doin my thing and leavin my world and people around me in better shape than I found them. Showin my nieces how they should be treated, and my nephews how to be men of honor and respect, and having them help raise my own children with the same values that I taught them. Family is pretty much everything to me. I really want to see my people(Black people) prosper, and be better, but I know it starts with me taking care of the things that I can control. I'm the first boy, and the oldest boy of 2 in a family full of women and no fathers, so my position as a man is really, really important to me because i'm all a lot of people can count on, and I know I can change our direction. I know this for the ladies, but this somethin i'd die about. Alot of dope shit in here by the way.

What issues matter to you the most ?

The issues that matter most to me are the marginalization of Black women, social injustices of those of African decent in the western world, the exploitation of Africa, Black economic inequality, along with the social devaluation of the Black family structure.

What is your passion?

Psychology, I'm currently in graduate school working on my masters; my 3rd degree, and my second in psychology, as I already has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Spelman College. My passions also includes my husband, my family, and my family owned business.

Do you give back to your community ?

Yes, I do. Matter of fact my entire family does, as I stated on this forum before my family owns a large funeral home in Florida, and we have given back to the community greatly and continue to do so. Just this Thanksgiving we supplied those from Black low SES with not only turkeys, but also fruits and vegetables (which we provide to the community 6 times a year), as a means of educating the community on healthy eating. We see too many Black people coming in here dying from preventable diseases. We also have given back tremendously to those who have suffered violent deaths, where as their families lacked the resources to provide burial.

I also give back through my husbands organization, which I will not name on here; however, he works with division 1 football athletes, and has recently started a non-profit organization to tackle some of the issues he has observed over the years in the locker room.

I also give back to my community through my sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha.

What matters to you?

Lots of things but I have been focusing on foster kids and the foster system for a few years now

I am a CASA volunteer and even though I no longer work in family law .... I still love being a part of this origination. It's rough seeing kids that have been abused and listening to their story. But giving the courts the information that is not what the child wants but what is in their best interest is how I help. She kids still want to go home to their abusers. It's my job to let the courts know that is not what they need.

I also collect toys and gift cards throughout the year for CASA.

Last year me and my friends and family adopted 30 kids . It was such an amazing feeling knowing they will have a Christmas.

This year I donated books to a new library in Bali. And also volunteer at a soup kitchen ... Serving breakfast at 5 am to the homeless.

I'm willing to help support anything that will truly help others. NAMI , Suicide prevention , women's rights , cancer research .... Are just some other groups I've raise money and done walks for this year

I would love to start a non profit summer camp for foster kids

I have a few attorneys willing to help me with this ... It's a long process but ideally I would like all foster kids in Travis county to able to attend the camp each summer. I think I can get some grants to help too. Currently putting my business plan together

What issues matter to you the most ?

Intolerance of any sort really bothers my soul. It legit hurts my heart seeing black people getting abused by the police, reading about what the Syrian refugees are going thru, and then seeing how people respond to them needing asylum. I saw an interaction between a racist white man and black lives matter protesters and it brought me to tears the way there was so much hatred in how he spoke, I truly don't understand that type of vitriol for anyone simply because they're not like you. I'm really sensitive to witnessing that type of thing in all forms, like bullying disabled kids, racism, homophobia, sexism, xenophobia, etc.

What is your passion?

Taking care of people who can't take care of themselves, but most important to me is being a mother. I put my all into raising healthy, happy, empathetic, good people. I'm an advocate for my son, who's autisic and has come so far in the past few years. It breaks my heart that he has to go through anything so diffucult, but he works hard, and is the happiest, most loving little boy you'll ever meet, and I like to think I have something to do with that. I also try my best to instill self esteem and self worth into my daughters. A lot of people don't know how difficult it is raising black girls who feel good about who they are, especially in white areas. My girls are artistic, smart and beautiful. I'm very proud of the way they're turning into young women.

Do you give back to your community ?

Nah, I know I should but I don't have disposable income or time.

This can be a political thread or not

*all obnoxious posts will be deleted *

Homelessness is an issue that matters the most to me. No one should be on the streets begging for food when we're spending millions on sports, spending money to keep people out, money on fuckery.

I try to volunteer and help out when I can but so much more can be done we just choose not to outta selfishness.
