Jesus got on the scene and put everybody in check, ever since then its a bunch of ppl in general on good behavior. He don't gotta bother with wiping out entire bloodlines, He just deal with the individuals. The difference comes from the morality of the mass ppl in each era.

I've heard this theory numerous times from Christian apologetics.. And I don't buy any of it.

The scriptures of Baruch and the book of Enoch state that animal sacrifices are really to demons. Yet their are animal sacrifice laws in the Old Testament.
1 Kings 18:38
