i gotta just wonder why Rob Zombie doesn't get the props he deserves. to me Halloween 2 was a masterpiece and it was shitted on by most everyone. hardly any horror films that have come out in YEARS can compare to H2.

to me halloween 2 is one of the worst horror remakes lol. It was too much stupid shit in it for me. Dreaming of unicorns, Michael Myers with a big long ass santa beard, the way they made Dr. Loomis this greedy author making money off the story was too far from the original dr. loomis character to me.

Horror movies have fallen off not to many original ideas. I love horror movies from the 80s even if they are cheesy predictable slashers or zombies vampire movies. The remakes are horrible....Rob Zombie remade halloween with a hillbilly spin..its like a black dude remaking halloween putting in the spin that mike meyers mom was a whore fucked a black dude with HIV had mike meyers who is secretly mulatto find out he has HIV and kills his own family and somehow lives with it for 10 plus years and tries to kill off the rest of his family because he is bitter their is no cure. Devils reject was whack to....REC 2 was pretty good IMO...some people are easily entertained by movies I honestly think the qualities of movies fell off 10-11 years ago.

it wasn't a remake, Myers dreamed/hallucinated a White Horse which is very symbolic, i didn't notice he had a beard at all since they didn't show his face but if he did it makes sense since he was roaming around like a bum for a year, and the character development of Dr. Loomis was interesting and realistic, his greedy actions which disclosed the real identity of Lorie was central to the story.

you know what i mean. it's remaking a series that already existed. It's always bad when you tamper with classic characters and change them too much....like dr. loomis.

nigga michael myers can drive cars, hand a crazy person the knife he killed people with to frame them and fake his death for 9 sequels but he can't shave smh. lol.

it's not dead, Rob Zombie been keepin that shit afloat by himself with 4 straight horror classics and contrary to popular belief the remakes are mostly on point, the first Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Dawn of the Dead and The Hill Have Eyes was ill, last year we had Friday the 13th reboot that was dope and Last House on the Left among others, this year Nightmare on Elm Street looks on point.

there were some good original horror movies last year too, Mirrors with Kiefer Sutherland by the guy that brought you High Tension and The Hills Have Eyes.. Jennifer's Body was nice to me, My Bloody Valentine 3-D was good..

All These Movies Are Either Remakes Or Wack Homages....I Like The 28 Days/Weeks Series Which Is British....The Rec Joints Which Are Spanish...Del Toro Did The Orphanage And The Devils Backbone...Which Are Also Great Spanish Flicks....Ils Was French That Shit Was ILL (no pun intended)...So Basically I Usually Watch Euro Flicks To Get My Horror Fix...American Joints Fell The Fuck Off Years Ago.....The Last Good American Horror Film Ive Seen Was Session 9 ....Oh Yeah Japan Was Runnin Shit With The Ring, The Eye Etc....Even Tho They Started To Become Formulaic

lots of good answers,I liked Jennifer's Body it made me a fan of Megan Fox.I like her personality.I have the second Halloween remake on bootleg but i can't get past 10 minutes of it,it just seems boring.

What do you guys know about Italian Horror ??,I've heard people say they make the best horror movies.

only youngins would say the Halloween remakes were wack, i had to live through watching that series get shit on for decades. Rob Zombie literally saved what was the biggest fall off of any film series in history. the Halloween series had 4 straight garbage ass movies in a row before they gave it to Zombie. Halloween 1 is a definitive classic and 2 is good. but from there the only good one is 4 the Return of Michael Myers. Parts 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 were all 100% garbage!! if you don't believe me then you need more people, believe it or not the only Halloween movies rated higher then Rob Zombie's remake on IMDB are the original parts 1 and 2. LMFAO at these 90's babies that grew up watching H20 - FOH with that bullshit!

1. i'm 27

2. i've never heard anyone say halloween 2 was good.

3. I'd honestly rather watch halloween h20 than that bullshit. Only halloween that halloween 2 remake was better than was halloween 3 and that's because michael myers wasn't even in that bitch. even the first halloween remake was better than that 2nd one. it's just boring and people born in the 70's, 80's and 90's know that shit.

and actually Halloween 2 remake is rated 4.9 on imdb.

Original halloween, halloween 2 original, halloween 4, and halloween h20 are all rated higher than that.

i said Zombie's original Halloween remake.

original Halloween 8.0
Halloween II 6.3
Zombie's Halloween remake 6.0

all others are less, part 4 is 5.6, H20 is 5.3 ect.

Rob Zombie's remake is the 3rd best rated Halloween movie on IMDb, the original sequel is the 2nd highest rated Halloween movie after the original. you need more people.

Still you're defending both as if they're great movies. The way you're hyping them up you'd think it would have a 8 or 9 or something but you thought Jennifer's Body was a good horror movie so what can we expect from you.

You're in denial my nigga.

even though most of those imdb ratings are bullshit but they have it slightly right with the halloween remakes (both should be lower)

also...most horror movies just turn out to be more funny than scary...imo

Watch the old Wes Craven movies like the first Last House on the Left and tell me that is funny.

It anit dead they just aren't as scary as they were in the past, horror movies now lack originality, most the movies now steal elements from there predecessors. They think if they throw in all that CGI shit the movie will be scary SMH.

One of my favorites of all time, is actually a modern-day remake. "The Hills have Eyes"
The casting was good, actors all believable, every scene was intense
I watch this all the time, and its always just like watching it for the first time again.
